Works as Expected
I put the unit in the attic, and run all TVs in the house through it (from a central media server). It works great with no problems. The attic gets pretty hot here in Florida, but so far this splitter has worked for several months during the summer.

This Brand Works
Had 3 similar products from another brand. First one lasted 2 years. The replacement had bad HDMI ports and the replacement of the replacement also had bad HDMI ports. Then I bought this brand and like magic everything is prefect for splitting 1 TV signal into 4 TVs.

Single in, multiple out, great for my DirecTV setup
I am using this HDMI splitter to send my DirecTV signal to multiple TVs and it works perfectly. The package came with the HDMI splitter box with 1 HDMI in and 8 HDMI out ports, an AC power adapter, and a small user manual. All the HDMI ports are located in the back of the unit, the status lights are on the front and the power input port is on the side. Although the box in the ad looks like metal, the box is actually plastic, very light. For my use case, I have multiple TVs around the house and I was using a wireless HDMI box to send the DirecTV signal to the outdoor TV. The problem with this wireless box is that the wireless signal is not 100% reliable. The outdoor TV will go blank in 2 seconds and reconnected, not often but quite annoying when it happened. I replaced that box with this HDMI splitter and it works great. No more glitches or disconnect signal.

Missing HDMI cable
There is no HDMI in the box as stated in the User Manual. It works but will wait and see how long this HDMI splitter will stay on working.

Reliable Performance and Versatility: KAGO HDMI Splitter Review
I recently had the opportunity to test the KAGO HDMI Splitter 1 in 8 Out, courtesy of the Amazon Vine program, and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance and features. One of the standout aspects of this splitter is its functionality. It lives up to its advertised capabilities, effectively splitting one HDMI input into eight outputs. This expanded capacity sets it apart from other similar products on the market, offering greater versatility for multi-screen setups or presentations. Despite its larger size due to the multiple outputs, it remains competitively priced compared to alternatives with fewer ports.Additionally, the inclusion of a dedicated power supply is a welcome feature. It's becoming increasingly common for electronic devices to ship with only a USB cable, requiring users to provide their own wall adapter. The KAGO HDMI Splitter alleviates this inconvenience by including everything needed to power the device properly, enhancing user convenience. In terms of performance, I found the splitter to deliver consistent and reliable results. It supports high resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz and 2K at 120Hz, with 36-bit deep color UltraHD support, ensuring crisp and vibrant visuals. During my testing, I connected it to four screens simultaneously without encountering any issues such as lag or graphical anomalies. Additionally, it doesn't seem to generate excessive heat, indicating efficient heat dissipation and further contributing to its reliability. In summary, the KAGO HDMI Splitter 1 in 8 Out impresses with its reliable performance, versatile functionality, and thoughtful inclusion of a dedicated power supply. Whether you're looking to expand your entertainment setup or streamline your presentation equipment, this splitter offers a reliable solution at a competitive price point.

Works For Certain Situations
I ordered this with the plan of sharing a device between adjacent rooms with a convenient passthrough. It's not too badly made with a total of eight HDMI outputs which is pretty nice depending on how you plan to use it. The front is pretty simple with just a lighted power button and a series of green lights that come on to identify which ports are in use. So far, I have only tried it with two monitors and in that test, it never got hot even though I left it on for probably four hours or more in total. The plug in is the chunkier type so that may in some situations may be an issue for you but isn't a big deal overall. I see no loss in video quality, but I didn't really push it into truly high-end levels; for what I did do it looked just fine. Overall, this splitter box seems to work pretty well, and I don't really have any issues with it but if that changes, I am going to make sure to come back and update my review - so if there is not update then you can safely assume it's working fine.
