Perfect Balanced DAC
I bought this USB-C to 4.4mm DAC dongle to listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks using my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. I am using Tripowin balanced cables with KZS10 Pro IEMs. I have tried several other DAC and DAC Amp dongles. This one does the job and beyond! Many Samsung Galaxy devices have a feature of UHQ Upscaler. It only activates with USB C connected wired headphones. None of the DAC dongles activated this feature. This one did it. And does it sound AWESOME! I was literally BLOWN away when I heard few of my favorite songs. The build quality is very solid. The feel is very robust and the look very sleek. Combined with the Tripowin cable and KZS10 Pro IEM, the whole setup looks, feels, and performs very high end. I wish they were making a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Works better than expected!
I bought this to use as a backup if my "Ifi Go blu" runs out of battery on me. To my surprise, this little guy sounds warm with nice tone & timber. Pretty dynamic too. It needs some burn in time maybe, as it's not as airy and effortless in the highs as a true high end devise like my go blu is. But for a few bucks?... the build quality and connection quality is worth every penny! Well worth the money spent.

Just bought an extra one for my portable setup!
This is a great little DAC! Just ordered a second one, so I can have one at home and one to take with me. I'd just set up a nice little budget system, using the Apos Gremlin tube amp to drive Fiio FT-1 headphones. I needed a decent budget DAC to interface with my phone (an older Samsung Note). After tons of research, I bought a MuseHifi M4 on sale, and hated the sound of the M4. This little $20 DAC came to the rescue! At one seventh the cost of the M4, I didn't expect much, but this little dongle DAC really delivers! The sound is gorgeous, even when just using cheap IEMs, but when combined with the rest of my system,... let's just say I'm very happy! The build quality of the DAC seems good, with a very attractive look to it. Just be aware that this DAC outputs to a 4.4mm plug, and not the typical 3.5mm most budget headphones use.

Warm, lush, full-bodied sound!
This is a well-built, premium-feeling, wonderful-sounding DAC. It powers my Moondrop Venus and Moondrop Para headphones fantastically using a balanced 4.4 mm cable while attached to a powered Sabrent USB 3.0 16-port hub. Note that these are power-hungry planars. The Realtek chip inside the DAC sounds rich, warm, and well-defined with great imaging and soundstage. You can't go wrong with this dongle at all. I'm very pleased.

Does what it should
This thing is a life saver. No need to me to get new cables for the IEMs. I prefer the 4.4mm balanced input and thats what I use for all my DACs. Being able to use my IEMs on my phone without having to worry about the DAC is nice. This thing worked right out of the package. Phone detected the audio chip inside and does recognize it as its own little DAC. Solid connection into the phone, solid connecting for the input for headphones and a beefy braided cable. No noticeable static, or hissing when using it. I'd say this is a great buy for those who use high end audio peripherals and dont want to fuss with an external DAC when out and about.

Works with Grell+Drop OAE1
Got this hoping to use it with the nice 4.4 pentaconn cable that comes with the OAE1. The standard 3.5mm cable is terrible, but I only had 3.5mm usb-c adapters. This works great! Sound quality is good to my ears and it can drive the OAE1 to painfully loud levels without any noticable distortion. Overall I'm very happy with the quality for the price paid.

Intermittent sound, useless
Not only did the plug feel different when plugging them into my MacBook Pro (vs. every other USB-C cable I have), but the sound came in and out. Right back for a refund it goes...

Excellent sound, Powerful
This adapter combines the better sound a 4.4mm jack can deliver with an excellent DAC & amp chip in the USB-C connector. It gives all 3 of my 2 pin IEMs a boosted sound with a bit more depth and separation. You need this!
