I'm very pleased with these. They look and sound great. They're a bit lighter than the coins I use now which I believe will make them a bit easier to use. I'm looking forward to adding them to my act.

Very well made as of 1/27/2024 these are/were 1881-s previously 1882-s & 1888-s were common. The size is the about the same as originals, They are good copies. A very thin silver plating does often have tiny pits & voids that do rust. The weight of these (.63 oz) is lighter than real silver of course as silver is heavier than steel by roughly 27% depending on the steel & sterling or coin or other silver alloys. Originals were coin silver-90% silver 10% copper & weighted about 26 grams these are ~18 grams. Thickness & diameter is fairly close. Make superb children's toys/gifts without spending a fortune. Fantastic for would be metal detection practice or real affordable thrills with low cost if they are lost. A long time ago I used to bury these is sand boxes for my kids & friends to find. Over time other dates may become available. Buy packs of 10 or 12 for a better price. Various sellers. Generally found under "magic coin trick". In my photo the one on my right is not from this order. From the photo it’s hard to tell I suppose but these coins are very very dingy looking. They are the perfect weight for magicians. The magnetic ability is strong. If your doing any walking liberty manipulation with shells and other stuff you have keep in mind these will not match not even close. A+ for value, A+ for weight, C- for appearance.
