This is the 2nd of this type of lamp we have had. We need to unclip the lamp on a night to close our tortoise run ( clipped onto the side ) and the spring in the handle of our previous one broke the plastic handle. No complaints about the lamp which is why we got another.Easy to use and adjust the brightness, cheap, small and well made. The bulbs use the wide screw fitting and are easy to change when cool.

When we first had it the bulbs supplied didn't seem to have the best fitment , we had to rescrew them each time we would turn it on to get it to work, but it has finally just stopped working as the metal part you screw into has come off and is stuck around the non working bulb, very dissapointed in how short this lasted considering how long lights have been around you'd think they could be made well by now

Started well and the tortoise loved it, the flexibility of the lamp was/is brilliant, but as others have suggested, after a month or so it’s a bit flaky, the bulb needs fiddling about otherwise the lamp just doesn’t switch on. Guess it’s just very average quality. Bit of a shame really

The bulb holder fell out .and couldnt fit it back in so bought a better one .

Perfect for my tortoise and gives off good heat, the only thing is I need to use a piece of string to hold it in place in the right position as its top heavy

This light worked fine for approx a month,then I struggled to get it to come on and had to jiggle the bulb,in the last week it's turned itself off three times and now won't work at all,I've changed bulb but still nothing.im hoping there is a guarantee with this light?
