10 Pcs High Strength Split Bolt Connectors 4 Gauge 8 Gauge Solid UL Listed

I bought these for joining electrified rope fence and they are perfect for the application. The machining of the bolts is flawless, no rough edges and they tighten down nicely making a secure connection of the joint. When the rope fencing stretches these can be easily loosened, the slack taken up and then secured once again. If you know the routine then you know this is a big time saver and keeps you pasture animals safe from loose hanging fence. Also making the connection from the rope fence to the ground couldn't be made easier by using one of these. I have a number of applications beyond the rope fencing where these will be a big time saver while providing a secure connection so I am very pleased with the product and the value.

Expensive but worth it for braided horse fencing. Durable and functional.

I used these to splice 2 number 4 wires together. It worked great and price was good. Not sure why some complained about it just do not overtighten and its fine

These worked great for me when I had to extend 6 AWG stove wiring. Just make sure not to overtighten these as the metal is soft, I stripped one of these, but that is my own fault. Also, make sure you seal these up good. I use thick rubber tape, then lots of electrical tape and finish with some shrink tubing. I would use these again.

Used these to bond 3 ground rods together using # 8 bare copper wire. Worked great.

Believe or not we used (1970s) these for the speaker box underground wires at a movie drive in, where I was the Projectionist. The quality of these are as good or better. I’m using them as a ground wire tap for my Ham radio antenna lightning arresters. I’m using heavy gage bare copper and these are perfect.
