I use this water leak detector to prevent any risk of leaks at home, and it completely meets my expectations. l'm already familiar with the quality of this brand's products, and it didnot disappoint! I know it's weird, but we were desperate. We used this with a dog diaper (yeah, that's a thing) to stop our dog from peeing in the house. It's small enough to fit in a small dog's diaper while the diaper is still able to keep liquid contained. It has worked extremely well. It beeps whenever he marks even a little on it. It is a little disgusting to clean it and we are pretty careful not to completely submerse it. But it's loud enough that we know immediately anywhere in our large house if our dog has peed. This is important so we can scold him right after the bad behavior so he associates the two together. It's been 3 weeks and we have seen marked ;) improvement. He has gone from a few times a day to every few days. This alone makes this sensor worth the money.

Literally worked in the forst week makes a loud sound, but could be louder. I almoat didnt hear it in my larger home but in a normal 2 floor plan it should be fine.

Great product but lousy manual. This product has actually 4 volume levels. Played with it for a few minutes and discovered that all you have to do is press the test button hold it and count the beeps. Four beeps for high. Three for medium two for low and one for silent with flash only. Once you let go and press the test button again you hear the level. Repeat process to hear all four and stop at the one you like. Don't know why they couldn't put this in the manual and product description, could sell more units maybe. Hope the batteries last longer than 2 years my other water detectors with 9 volt batteries seem to last longer maybe they were just smoke detectors chip units. Otherwise like the unit design and size although the little opening tool doesn't seem to work for me after I assembled the unit.Guess will use a good old fashion flat blade screwdriver instead. Also great price.

I’ve had a 60-gallon reef tank for almost two decades, which means I regularly mix fresh saltwater very other week. So, I finally decided to get a water leak sensor.At first, I looked into smart sensors that connect with Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings, but they were pricey ($35+), had non-replaceable batteries, low audio alarm, and had frequent complaints about disconnecting from the system. Instead, I went with a simple, battery-powered water sensor, and I’m so glad I did!This device is not only loud but also incredibly accurate. The moment even a tiny part of its foot touches water, it sets off a piercing alarm (and I mean LOUD. I can hear it from several rooms away). Best of all, it’s a straightforward device with replaceable batteries, and I can even use rechargeables. No complaints whatsoever, and for this price, I can’t recommend it enough!

These little things saved us lots of money. I got them to put under an aging water heater. Wanted to know if any leaks started. It's hard to get to our water heater, it is behind a wall and to access it i have to unscrew trim and remove a panel. After a month one of the alarms started to sound. It is way louder than the test button sound. It was screaming through the wall.I was expecting to see a drip from the bottom of the water heater but there wasn't one. I looked up and the drip was from the exit pipe venting through the roof. I never would have even known about it and lots of damage would have occurred without these little life savers!

Works great. Is affordable. The alert is VERY loud and continues until you manually stop it.

I just replaced my hot water heater and have only had the product for one day. As a result, I cannot rate its performance. However it has been recommended by people I have spoken to. I should mention that my hot water heater is on the upper level of my two story home and, as a result of its location, it sits in a large tray to protect the lower levels from water leakage. I found that the alarm is too big to fit in this tray as the hot water heater fills most of the tray space
