First released in September 1999 under the title ‘Euphoria Morning’ (note the missing ‘u’), this was Cornell’s first solo album and his only album released between the split of Soundgarden and the formation of Audioslave. Featured on the album is first single, ‘Can’t Change Me’, which was nominated for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance at the 2000 GRAMMY Awards. The album has been newly remastered. Review: An original masterpiece. - What can I say...this is an absolute classic! I first really discovered Chris through Audioslave and I am at a complete loss that I have not found this CD sooner. Perhaps it is it's apparent 'failing' (from reading some of the reviews)that is to blame for it slipping through my normally very vigilant net. The quality of the songwriting is first class, the vocals are superb as always and all in all this is a timeless album that deserves to be appreciated by generations to come. It is different from Audioslave (who just rock, by the way), very chilled and melodic and while drawing from a wide range of familiar musical influences, Chris has produced an unique sound that only a truely talented musical craftsman can. The highlights for me are Can't Change Me, Flutter Girl, Preaching the End of The World, When I'm Down, Disappearing One and Pillow of Your Bones, but in all honesty all the tracks have a little something that leave you wanting more. In my eyes Chris is up there with the most influential songwriters of the 20th/21st century and I await the release of his next solo offering (rumoured to be early 2007)with sheer desperation. 'Euphoria Morning' is totally gorgeous. Review: Good Work! - On time! Everything Ok!

His Most Emotional Album
Vocals: Chris really puts soul into this album, you'll understand when you hear the album. You can feel his pain, he was going through depression and drug abuse at the time and he sings with such emotion you can really feel it. His range is still incredible, he can still scream, Best Examples are Steel Rain and C5's in Wave goodbye and When I'm Down. Lyrics: Some of Chris Cornell's best lyrics, metaphors and double entendres run free in these songs. Their smart, relatable lyrics, some of his best. The heartfelt dedication to Jeff Buckley 'Wave Goodbye', Disappearing One and Flutter Girl (a soundgarden outtake). Overall Sound: Combining half a dozen genres, about 12 different exotic played expertly by guest stars Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneider. This album has something for everyone. This is a work of art, Chris' masterpiece, not only his most emotional album but also his best.

Great solo album.
Anyone wanting to hear a great voice singing some great songs need look no further than this album. It may not be to everyones taste, but those that like a mix of ballads and rock will love it. And Cornell has a depth not previously shown with Soundgarden/Audioslave's much heavier emphasis though Down on the Upside (one of my favourite albums) comes close. A superb solo effort.

Should have bought this a while ago...Amazing
A sublime debut album by Chris Cornell. This is a release from an artist that has so much more to say! I am a massive Soundgarden/grunge fan and It took me a couple of listens to realise how amazing this is. If you like Chis Cornell then this is worth is. The Album 'Higher Truth' i also amazing ....

Great Solo Album by Rock Icon!!
This is a great solo album by Cornell displaying a more softer side to his voice which is great, theirs alot of soul in his voice and great raspy tones which make the songs great to listen to backed by great music!!

An underrated album from one of my favorite singers. “When I’m Down” and “Disappearing One” are two of my favorites and are even more haunting now that he’s passed.

This is the best Chris Cornell solo album. All the songs of this album are phenomenal in their own way. My favorite songs being Follow my way, When I'm Down, Preaching the End of the World.
