I actually bought this for safety for my older dog. She was starting with puppy dementia and I was afraid she would fall or roll off the bed. It is perfect. She feels safe when she lays against this and it lessens my worry too.

Husband had installed in minutes. I am only 63 but have fallen out of the bed sound asleep twice in two years. Last fall I hit my forehead on bedside table. So I am hoping this small rail will stop that from happening again!

It does what it's suppose to do. The caddy is a nice bonus. FYI, you do need to make the bed first before putting this in place. It's a bit of a pain to get the strap under the mattress and through the other side, so I didn't bother. Seems secure without the strap being attached to the bed frame. The weight of the mattress and person keeps it securely in place.

Just want we needed. This heavy duty bed rail is great for my elderly family member. She loves the pockets for tissues she needs in the night. Her husband loved it so much that I had to get one for him for his side of the bed. He loves the fact that he can use it for leverage to help him get up and out of bed. She uses it for protection so she doesn't roll off the bed. It's a great size because she can still get up and out of bed on her own but stops her from rolling off the bed. Much better than a full size rail that will make it difficult to get out of bed. I would highly recommend this.

My husband just had major surgery and this product has been great! Well built..just the right size!

The base of the support bar extends three quarters of the way under a full size mattress using all parts included. Easy assembly within two minutes. The adjustment holes for the bar height are relatively tight, might be hard for those with arthritis or loss of hand strength. There's a foam based grip in the center top part of the rail that looks like it will last awhile, not too spongy. The included tie-down anchor strap is long but I couldn't find anything suitable to attach it to on the adjustable bed frame. Overall not bad for the price

This product works like it should, and it’s not as expensive as other ones like it. Its strong, has soft padding on it, has pockets on it, and is easy to assemble. I like it.

Bought for my mother to give her a wee boost to get her self up off the mattress as it sinks where a person sits on the edge of the bed. It was hard to decide on which one to buy. It seems to be satisfactory. No tools required.

Mom loves it, and uses it for stability. She fears falling out of bed.we don't have a bed frame--just a box spring and mattress. The strap was not long enough to tie to the box spring, but the clasp seemed to work as a hook on the end of the box spring. It's hard to explain, but I made it work. the strap is necessary so that the unit doesn't fall out.

I'm so glad I bought this bed rail! It's given me peace of mind and security. It's sturdy and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

The main bars on the bed rail had splits in the metal which split even further when we tried to put it together. The cracks were unsafe if an elderly person rolled against it the person would likely fall out of bed and be severely injured. Poor quality
