This is a great product, my main problem was my dog liking go a quarter mile down the road to play at the neighbors, and they live much closer to the highway. Now she wears the collar and I can use the vibrate feature to get her attention, and the shock feature if she does not come running. I have had the collar less than a week and am seeing results. Often, just the vibration seems to break her thought pattern and she decides to investigate it, stopping the jumping up and other annoying things a willful year old hyper pup can do. I like the covered prongs on the shock box, and the fact that I have a lot of options before I have to shock her. All dogs are different, but she responds to the vibration better than the bell. Both parts of the system are easy to use and charge, and there is a light on her reciever to let you know that it is working. I use a different collar, not real keen on the vinyl one provided.

I received the new, undamaged package VERY QUICKLY after ordering, and followed the directions to charge it prior to use. The silicone coated electrodes are a nice touch. The collar is hunter's orange, which also works for me. My dog learned the range of her previous collar, and could very quickly get to a minimum safe distance, eliminating the efficacy of the old collar. The OWNPETS has at least 3 times the range of her previous collar, and I was able to correct her from running "out of range". The collar is vinyl coated. I did not test to see if it is actually waterproof, I am very pleased with this collar, and it made it a pleasure to be out with my dog. She was immediately responsive to the whistle after the initial correction,,followed my directions, and the vibration feature was all that was required to get her compliance to commands. She is a good dog, but pretty stubborn and very tough. I was surprised that she was so responsive to this product. I would put this e-collar up against products 5 times the price.

Terrible. Receiver contact point fell out. I've only had it a couple weeks and I've used it 3 times. Never had this issue before with other brands. So disappointed. This brand does not offer single receivers for purchase which means I have to buy another transmitter and receiver. If I have to do that I won't be buying this brand again. Ever. Spend the little bit extra and save yourself the ordeal.Update: the company contacted me and sent a replacement. I appreciated that very much. The transmitter and receiver individually are in good shape with no other issues, but, when paired they seem to unpair randomly when I turn off the receiver. It has caused a headache trying to figure out why the receiver isn't responding, take it off my dog, re-pair it, etc. I've had a serious ordeal finding a reliable, headache-free ecollar and this one isn't it. Still looking...

I've had this for some months and used it on my large Newfie and smaller Sheppard mix. Both are stubborn, tough dogs. The collar works very well and I'm quite satisfied. Looking for an extra so I don't have to take it off one dog and put it on another.

This system works when it wants . I only can get the vibrate and tone I normally wouldn’t even use the shock part . It did work a few times. I need it because the GSD is Chasing the cats and litterly ripped the couch because the cat was under the material. I just had to order a new one Aeterc.

These are ok. But they do wear out after a while. Have had to purchase multiple times but they do work great and they are good training tools

Excellent product. Very easy to use and my dog responds very well. Very durable,dog goes in the water with it on and still works! Battery last very long. Would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

It’s great. I only use buzzer if he leaves yard but most of time he stays right with us,because he knows he’ll get zapped.

Easy to use & works very well. Was delivered the very next day & was not expexted to be delivered for 2 more days. I like that there is 2 different shock levels & that you are able to use the vibration & the low level shock modes in either quick mode or continuous mode for a maximum of 10 seconds simply by holding the button. I have a VERY FAST beagle who likes to race & chase cars down our rural dirt road & sometimes needs more than a quick zap to get her attention. The only thing I dont like is that you have to set the intensity level before each vibration or shock by turning a dial, it is much more convenient to have the levels already set with the option to increase or decrease easily. I use a high level (80) for vibration but a low level (40) for shock & it is very inconvenient to have to switch between levels while my dog is bolting out the laneway towards the road. It is definitely waterproof. We live on a lake & my dog is a big swimmer, havnt had a problem with the collar not working or electrocuting my dog. Have not found another collar with as big of range or even close to this collar. Most are only 300m, this has 1000m.

Amazing range. I would say it works further than advertised.

This is a very good ecollar. Easy to use and seems to be well made.

I like this collar. It worked well for my dog for her barking and her darting out the door. Only thing that sucks is battery life. It lasts maybe one day. Wish it would last a couple days. Range is great, works very well. Hate the collar it came with so I'm buying a more comfortable one to put the receiver on.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am a bit worried about the prongs. They wiggle, one more than the other. It is easy to use. Providing it stays together it is Great!
