DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OFFER - an absolute con. No product weight was specified so was expecting 5lb bag of Death Wish and slightly smaller Valhalla. What I received was a 1lb bag of the former and a 12 once bag of the latter.Cheaper to drink champagne....

I don't know how I did it
Somehow I produced coffee house quality coffee using a cheap black and decker automatic drip and and ground the whole beans with a $20 Krups grinder. I blame this on the quality of the beans and the roast. This coffee is amazing quality. I don't want to over hype this coffee because it's easy for people to over hype anything - especially with YouTube videos or hell, even the comments section for reviews on Amazon - people taking pictures with their hair all messy in a photograph and blaming the coffee like they put their finger in a light socket or something and if that seems ridiculous it's because it is. I understand that it is expensive but it's worth it and here is why: before buying these whole beans and grinding them, my family was using old Great Value brand Columbian roast and it couldn't raise the heart rate of a mouse much less get it out of bed in the morning - but with these beans you really can make coffee house quality coffee out of your automatic drip and I didn't think that was possible. It was either I was using cheap grounds or spending $6 at Starbucks or some specialty coffee place. So while maybe you spent 20 bucks on a pound here, you would legit be spending $4.50+ at a coffee shop to get this quality and you would be getting up early, sitting in a line at a drive thru or standing in line waiting for somebody else to make your coffee and then cussing as you leave the business for wondering why you just spent so much for a cup of coffee. Think of how many cups of coffee house coffee you can make out of a pound of beans and then realize that you are also not waiting in line either. It is worth at least giving this coffee a shot and trying it out.

Coffee be Mine!
Ok, I got this coffee because my daughter begged me to get it for her. The first pot she brewed was so light you could see through it. Of course being the coffee connoisseur I had to give her a hard time. Even though it was so very light there was a very good aroma and flavor to the brew. Additional brews prove to be worth while. They have recommended brewing instructions but I like my coffee a little dark and strong so play with it. I suggest starting off easy and work up to what you like. This is not your bargain grocery store water brew. It is a bold flavor but not over powering. Both have this earthy dark roast smell. I bought the whole bean bags. I really love the Valhalla. It has a silky smooth feel to it and that is a good coffee in my book. Of course the Death Wish is good too. So next time I have drag my exhausted carcass out of bed and do a boat load of chores, I'll drink the Death Wish and hope I don't bounce through the roof or grow hair on my feet(it's that strong). Overall I am happy she begged me for this coffee. I will be buying this coffee in the future for myself.
