Installed in an outdoor flag light fixture. First two bulbs failed in two week. Amazon replaced those bulbs. Another bulb after 4 weeks of use had an internal short in the base electronics of the bulb. When that bulb was removed the vents at the base of the bulb smelled of burned electronics and the vents were covered in black soot. Bulbs were returned for a refund. Note: the fixtures the bulbs were installed in were found free of defects, the issues were with these bulbs. Consider another brand or take your chances you don’t have a fire initiated from these bulbs.

One of the things that sometimes bugs me about some product descriptions and photos is that many simply don't properly convey the size / scale of the item in question. I've seen a lot of the "Cob-bulbs" so I kind of had an idea what to expect. These were bigger than what I imagined by a factor of like, 2 or 3. They're so big I had to add a photo of one with a "normal-size" bulb included for comparison. As you can clearly see from the photo, it's QUITE the sizeable bulb. I originally ordered these with the intention of swapping them out with the bulbs in my outside light fixtures on my house for when I was working on something in the driveway and needed lots of light. They...simply won't fit my outside lights. So, they have been relegated to garage duty as my new overhead bulbs (replacing the 100-watt equivalent LED bulbs currently in there, which put out less than 1/4 the light these put out). Luckily they came with the adapter to use them in the smaller socket. Best advice I can give is make sure these aren't too big for the fixture you want to use them in. They're BIG lights. They are ridiculously bright (and so far work great) and I love having them in my garage now. They even seem to be nicely built. 5 stars, but make sure they fit!

The GTAREN 100W LED Corn Light Bulb two-pack is an incredible value. I tested these lights with the included adapters that convert the larger size thread to one that is found in most of my household fixtures. I reviewed another LED Corn Light Bulb about a year ago that was much more expensive. The single bulb was close to one hundred dollars. This two-pack is less than the price of my old LED Corn Light, and the performance of the light is just as good. I use these LED bulbs inside to light my computer work area office. I enjoy the bright white daylight-looking color temperature tone emitted by this bulb. I tested the bulb with my PAR meter to see what kind of numbers I would get. To my surprise, I was reading over 2700 PAR value near the bulb. In short, these LED corn bulbs are super bright and have a cool whitish light that does not distort colors. The bulb provides light in 360 degrees range, which is great for many applications.

Installed these in street lights for property, bright , easy to install. Product still under warranty and send msg to seller after they quit working...about 8 months. Quick response and sent me 2 Brand new ones. Very pleased. Make sure if using the adaptor it is seated correctly and does not come lose.

These are not good at all , when they work they are nice and bright but out of the 4 I ordered only 2 lasted thru the first night. Very disappointed!
