I'm honestly really disappointed with Starlink given the price, $600 and you get a cable way wayyy to small and an utterly useless mounting system. While there aren't a lot of cheap solutions to the cable outside of splicing the original, this mount is EXACTLY what I needed for mounting the dish on my metal roof of my house.The magnets are really strong and keeps the mount in place, I actually mounted this during a wind storm advisory and a rainstorm and as soon as I placed the mount near my roof it snapped down. Easily worth the price. Assembly is about 4 minutes and then you're good to go.If you want a magnetic mounting solution for a metal roof instead of paying $60 for a pivot mount and $93 for a flashing mount, get this.

I’m impressed with the strength of the magnets. Initially I was very skeptical of how well they would fair against strong wind, but it has stayed solid as a rock. If you’re worried about it falling from the roof or wherever you put it, breath easy, it’s not going anywhere.

If it's not windy, these will hold a starlink antenna to the top or hood of a car quite well, that's mostly how I have been using them.If its windy don't rely on just these magnets alone, if you back them up with a bungee or strap they system is simple, solid, effective. i recommend putting Loctite on the hardware as it can rattle off easily during transport. There are enough nuts supplied to tighted against each other for a locking effect but I still recommend loctite.

Easy and fast to apply to your antenna base and can be placed anywhere on my metal roof to get me the clearest picture of my sky. (And I live in a bowl of a valley in WV with trees so one spot on the roof can mean a more sky for reception.)

The pictures are so deceiving. These are only about an inch wide. They’re very very weak, the first strong breeze would blow your receiver over. I put these on my mount without the receiver and stuck it on the side of my refrigerator and just barely touching it with one finger it will fall off. Not to mention $40 for these little tiny things is ridiculous. I really hoped these would work great on my sheet metal roof, not even wasting the time to try.

Okay so I bought these and when installing I felt they may not have been the strongest, but I thought what’s the worst that could’ve happen, boy was I wrong. My Starlink is on our metal roof and we were directly in the path of Hurricane Beryl in Richmond which is south of Houston. Trees blew over, fences blew over, and when it was all said and done I assumed my Starlink would have been miles away in that storm, nope it was still there secured on our roof. I’m not big about leaving reviews but after that storm my wife said I needed to go ahead and leave one. Great magnets!

Works great it has been a game changer on my metal roof. Definitely a thumbs up for this product.

I was nervous about this magnetic mount, but I live in a rented house with a tin roof and didn't want to drill holes! Two months later, it hasn't budged, even after some strong wind (gusts of up to 24mph). I still get a little nervous and go to check it isn't moving when it's windy, but it has given me no reason for concern yet. If I experience higher wind speeds, I will come back and edit my review as I know I would have liked others to get specific on what this mount is capable of withstanding!
