These are excellent! My husband works the night shift so we needed these for our master bedroom. We have older windows so we had to put them on differently. My husband built a frame for them to fit inside of but we knew that going in so it was no problem. They work great and look really nice. The assembly was easy and the fit was perfection. The room is dark now and much cooler too. We live in a very hot climate so that was an added benefit. The cool AC air stays in the room instead of escaping through the windows. Very clever design and the customizing was a huge benefit. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I should have spent the $170 sooner, the large bedroom window, roughly 72 x 50 is completely blocked out in my rental apartment with no tools needed! It sounded too good to be true but it's just as advertised, complete black out. It arrived way faster than expected for it being custom made, I went with white frame and black blinds, it came in four pieces that snap together with ease, measurements were a perfect fit. I love the option from being able to open left to right. It's very good quality for the price! I've tried everything before this, from the cheapest options of cardboard in window to black tarp taped up, to more expensive options on Amazon and nothing compares to these due to the custom fit and ease of opening and closing.Please buy them and follow the instructions, you will not regret it!

Overall, I am fairly pleased with this custom sized cellular shade that I received. The frame seems well-built and sturdy, and it is easy to assemble. The shade opens and closes quite smoothly, stays in place wherever you want to leave it (all the way open, all the way closed, and anywhere in between) and I think there are even two screws in the base of the frame that allow for adjustment of that if need be. The dimensions were just slightly off what I ordered (ordered 23-5/8” x 29-3/4”, received 23-19/32” x 29-21/32”), but it ended up fitting my window frame just fine. I used the included adhesive foam strip all the way around the perimeter of the frame, which resulted in a nice and snug fit. For the price I paid for this, I was disappointed that there were a few small scuffs and scratches on the frame and on the back side of the handle, but luckily none of these were visible after installation. Also, the shade is slightly deformed in the bottom two corners, the left side more so than the right side. This doesn’t affect the functionality of the shade but just doesn’t look great. When the shade is fully open, it doesn’t store perfectly level with the top edge of the frame/bezel, which is a little noticeable (again doesn’t affect the functionality of the shade at least). I am curious to see how this shade lasts over time, but as long as it last for a significant amount of time, I will be pleased with this purchase and feel that is a pretty decent value for the price (I wish it were a little cheaper, but it’s not the worst).

I'm very happy with these shades. I ordered them for my bedroom, and liked them so much I ordered a second set for an office. The frame is mostly metal (the corners are plastic) and is sturdy. The shades do a good job blacking out the room and providing extra insulation. They aren't 100% blackout because there is a tiny bit of light that leaks between the shade itself and the frame, but I don't think there are many/any other shades that could block the light out better.

With the simplistic measurements, this window screen went in very easily and works fantastic. The instructions are very easy to understand and the function of the blinds works better than expected. It is well worth every penny for this product.

My job requires me to work shift work. So after 10 years, and several 1,000 snide comments from family and friends about the tin foil on my windows, I decided to bite the bullet and buy actual black out blinds. These are so AMAZING!! Super easy to install, and they truly are blackout blinds. What took me so long?!!

Love the curtain, works like a charm. My only complaint is it says to reduce the actual measurement by 1/8 of an inch, I would have been better off reducing it by 1/4 or 3/8 so I could use the gasket seal. Also follow the instructions on getting the measurements. I'm an idiot and only measured the top and and one side. Measure all 4 sides and use the smaller measurement. My window is not perfectly square so the frame was a snigger fit. I had to do some slight modifications but it still worked out nicely

I purchased these in mid-May and waited over a month for them to arrive as the shipping information never once updated for us. When they arrived, all of the frames were an incorrect size and did not fully black out. Because we’ve lived without blinds for over a month, we decided to install them anyway, but we had to decide if we wanted the gap at the top or bottom of the window. The gap is about 1/2 an inch for the non-black out blinds, so it’s pretty noticeable. The gap is about 1/3 of an inch for the black out blinds. All of our windows are the same size, and of course, the blinds company blamed my measurements, despite all of the blinds provided being different lengths. They told me to remeasure them and they’d send new ones. I’m not willing to wait over another month to get blinds for my new house.
