Q: Why can I not get shade 224

Q: How do I go about picking the correct shade? I'd hate to buy some only to find its the wrong tone/colour, especially given the subtle differences.

Are you male or female ? Female I would say the same colour of your foundation, go for a liter colour as you can always add a bit of foundation to it. However is doesn't stay in place, rubs off all over the place, I ended up using Estée Lauder double wear foundation that stayed in place for days, seal it with a light cover of hair spray. Worked perfect for me, as for a sample in Debenhams or house of Fraser then you don't have to pay !!! Win win
