You can barely hear it even when it’s turned all the way up. I ended up buying a different mic. It looks awesome high quality but doesn’t match its looks in functionality

I've owned several microphone kits in the past but have yet to come close to the quality of the MAONO USB/XLR Dynamic Microphone. This microphone comes as a complete set: MAONO Dynamic microphone, Shock mount, a hefty mic stand, Pop Filter, 78in USB cable, 98in XLR cable, and instructions. Right out of the box, every piece of equipment is of a high-quality grade, and the wiring is a thick gauge, which is a plus. The microphone does have a power button and volume buttons and has a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The microphone has some weight to it and gives the option of attaching it to a boom arm or the provided base stand, which is heavy and sturdy. The microphone's sound quality is pristine and sensitive to the sound of your voice. With the addition of the pop filter, a high percentage of the outside noise is filtered out, which leaves a pure, clean sound. I would've expected to pay a premium dollar for the price I paid for a top-notch microphone.Overall, MAONO's Dynamic Microphone Kit is an all-in-one solution for all your recording and performance needs. I've used a few Maono mics now and found all of them to be quite competent with high quality sound and very easy to set up and use for the amateur podcaster, etc.I like that this unit includes a shock mount and pop filter - as well as that it is compatible with both phantom powered XLR systems and straight USB computer connection. Given all of that, there's really no other set I could so easily recommend to everyone, regardless of their use case.Personally I use this mic for streaming and the condenser is very capable. It is not as good as any truly excellent mics from Shure or EV but it has a great full range and is very good for voice work.

Super simple and easy to set up and be recognized by the computer and software.👊🏽🎤-My only issues are that I couldn’t get it to record loud enough or at a full frequency range without leaning right up into the microphone, which defeats the purpose of creating a pro sound in real time, when making YouTube Vids. Lastly, I had to use noise reduction software (pictured) to minimize ambient room noise. Overall I was still able to get an acceptable recording which I thought deserved the four star rating.

The criteria for evaluating a purchase from Amazon is always an utmost standard of integrity. This begins with the seller truth-in-telling, the listing being a thorough and accurate representation of what is received and the manufacturing of the product meeting or exceeding good quality expectations. Interpreting this by assigning "stars" can be misleading. So I either recommend a product or I don't. The item I receive must be protectively shipped arriving in brand new condition, no damages or items being prior returns resold. The manufacturer's packaging should be substantial for handling and storing while intelligently presenting the item in full color photos with dialog expressing the features and benefits and overview of use to guide fair use expectations. Not just content thrown in non-descript generic bags or boxes. The product design should be intuitively clear regarding "how-to" and contain enough English-correct instructions to promise ease of use with all its features. We need to be happy we bought it, and not care whose responsibility it is for whatever failure destroys our shopping experience. I'm not in the mood to meter forgiveness because it was not the seller, it was Amazon, or not Amazon it was the manufacturer, or not the manufacturer it was delivery services. I don't want to manage and decipher the experience, I just want to enjoy it. It is a tall-order and why I only shop Amazon, because they promise to uphold this high-bar of customer satisfaction. This item hits this high mark. I can absolutely recommend it.
