Works even better than expected. Boulder, Colorado is home to downslope wind events that can exceed 100 mph. So far, this little device has withstood 70+ mph like a champ - my downspout extension didn't budge. An important note on installation - if your gutters are of a decent quality aluminum, a 1/8" or smaller drill bit might be required to help get the screw in. Any drill bit will work, as will the most basic power drill of any quality, and it only takes a second. Borrow one from your neighbor if you have to - this product is worth it. The clip slipped onto my downspout extension easily, even though my extension wasn't in the best condition.

Maybe a little expensive for what you get. But, it works perfectly for my purposes. Holds gutter up securely.

This does exactly what it says. It gives you a nice solid magnet and washer along with a screw so you can make your gutter stay up and not fall down. Might have been nice if it included a dab of sealant for when you drive the screw hole to attach the washer, but I understand this is just a simple product.

These were easy to install. The instructions recommend using caulk but I found that double sided carpet tape worked great to hold it into position while driving the screw. My downspouts are 20 years old so a couple of them needed to be straightened with a pair of pliers. Definitely these are better than the old hook and loop ones they replaced.

I used this to replace a velcro based piece that held up my downspout while mowing/trimming. The only suggestion I would make is that the magnetic clip also be color matched to the downspout.

Easy to install and works like a charm

The magnet is not that strong. 10-15 mph wind can detach the gutter. Otherwise it can hold it up on a nice day when you have to mow.
