Hawkshead Relish Damson Jam - 220g

This damson jam is superb. There is a reason for this, it is made with whole damsons with some of the stones left in. This ensures you get the best flavour. Other damson jams have the stones removed and in the process get boiled for a set into a mush of varying hardness. I am partial to damson jam and have tried many makes, but this is the best.

I buy this from time to time as I love Damson Jam and first had this on holiday in the Lake District. Its very hard to get proper Damson jam as many are really just plum, this jam has ALL the flavour and is quite, quite delicious.

Very tasty, BUT the jar had too many stones in it and high risk of breaking your teeth if not careful.Appreciate there is a warning on the website, but couldn’t see one on the jar and I found 10 stones in my jar!!!Shame as it is a lovely tasting jam....just be careful.

Not sure what tasted like as bought as a gift.

Very good, soft texture. I'd buy this one again. Am currently using another Damson jam which is a bit too stiff and less appealing. Its worth paying that little bit extra for this one.

Tastes like real damson jam, best I have had for a long time; will definitely buy again
