Well package, high quality item
This riser base really comes in handy for thicker materials. It's extremely well packaged, like all xTool products, so it arrived quickly (thanks to Amazon) and in perfect condition. Assembly took about 30 minutes. Very straightforward assembly. It's strong enough to hold the heavy P2 confidently. There is a gap between the P2 and base. Hopefully smoke and fumes won't seep through it. Oddly, the corners are rounded while the P2's are square. Well, it's not furniture so it doesn't have to look pretty. And yes, it's quite expensive for what it is, but you'll appreciate the many precise positions for the metal shelf when you have material that must be raised or lowered to work with the limited Z-axis of the P2. Overall, I highly recommend it.

A must have for the Xtool P2
The media could not be loaded. The unit is solid metal and all the doors work without issue. Everything needed to assemble is included in the box with great direction booklet. This will give you plenty of clearance for the laser for a lot of items. I would say that this accessory is a must have if you are getting the P2.

Does what it should
Hey, that this thing is easy to slide around. There are no suction cups or anything to keep it still, adhere to the table.

Don’t buy this or the P2
If you bought this, it means you bought the P2. That was a mistake if you intend to use if for anything other than a hobby. It is not Lightburn compatible in most regards. Check out the Lightburn forums and read the comments. The LB people are, I think, considering making the maker remove any mention of support by LB. The Xtools people claim support will come in the next release of the LB software. The programmer on the LB forum makes no promises at all about when, and if, it will be supported. It’s a shame, because the P2 has potential to be a good product. Mine is being returned.
