For years, my mom and I have been using those plastic compression bags that you roll/push out the air. I got these cubes because I wanted to be more organized but was a bit worried about fitting all my clothes. I put all my clothes in my regular plastic bags first and then moved them to these cubes/bags to see the difference and if they'd fit. Turns out I had no issues packing all my clothes into the cubes and fitting them into my smaller-than-average carry on. I was able to pack enough clothes for a two week trip to Norway including long sleeves, jackets, and hats. It was seriously sooo nice being able to open individual bags to easily take out only what I needed instead of having my luggage look like a string confetti popper. My mom would look at my neatly packed luggage with envy while she was on the ground going through a mess of clothes and then compressing them all down again. I think the plastic bags also make it easier to overpack. I like that the cubes are slightly see-through (the style I got) and they have some compression as well. I went on YouTube to see the best ways to pack your clothes into cubes which was really helpful in fitting a lot of clothes and also reducing wrinkles. I can't see myself going back to the plastic roll out compression bags. These cubes are great.

I was a skeptic at first, but holy cow do these things hold a lot of clothing! My fiance and I bought these for a 12-day trip across Italy in the Summer, and since we were flying budget airlines we wanted to just bring small carry-ons/personal items to make sure our luggage stayed with us at all times. We were able to fit ALL of our clothes in these four compression bags AND still have room for shoes and toiletries in our bags. I probably fit about 5 dresses, 12 pairs of underwear + socks, a pair of jeans, two pairs of shorts, 6 shirts, and a light sweater in just two of these bags! I did bring a small steamer along because packing clothes in does cause some wrinkling, but I had more than enough room for the steamer after using these compression cubes. BUY THEM!

I bought these for a recent trip to Maine. I may have been going in June but I was warned that Maine is nothing like my home state in the south. Bring pants and fleece, I was told by my family that lived there. They knew I was going offshore and warned me it would be quite brisk. So I wanted some compression that I could easily redo, with no special equipment, when it was time to pack to come back home. These worked out great for me. It isn't vacuum sealing or anything, but it did make enough room in my case to bring a few extra items. Do be mindful as you zip so you don't catch the fabric, but by using your finger to guide alone the channel, that isn't a big worry. The color was great and they held up just fine for my trip. I also liked being to sort my items a bit, so I knew where things were.

These "compression packing bags" do not work nearly as well as the compression bags that have a zip lock closure and really compress your clothing. The compression is more like when you overstuff your hard shell suitcase and have to sit on it to close it. The plus side is they work like packing cubes and help organize your clothing. They also held up nicely for a 12 day trip, did not wrinkle my clothing and seem well made. To achieve any compression at all you need to overfill the packing bag and attempt to zip the bag. If you cannot zip the bag you have to take some clothing out and try again to zip it. It would be helpful if the packing cubes were not all the same color so you could tell what was in each bag without unzipping it.

We used these for summer travel when all four member of my family packed into one large bag. There is a modest compression. The flat shape after closing both zippers made it easy to pack these into the large suitcase. I wish I had chosen a product with a clear or mesh window so that I could tell what was in each pack. I will buy another set of these, especially if I could find one with a window, before my next airplane travel. These were definitely sturdier than the ones I bought at TJMaxx.

I bought these to use in my backpack for travel! You can fit about 16 pieces of clothes of varying thickness in one large cube or two medium cubes. Both of which fit comfortably in my travel backpack & I still had some room! The price of these were AMAZING considering how well it holds up and how easy it is to use! I would absolutely buy these again or for someone!

These packing cubes were essential on my 2 week long vacation. The sizes I purchased were perfect and fit all of my belongings well. All 4 of the cubes were able to fit in my carry-on, as well as one side of my check-in luggage.The only issue I have with this product is that I noticed the zipper that expand and collapse the bag came loose from the pressure of the airplane which isn’t a big problem but could definitely be an improvement later on

Much smaller than I expected - smaller than most packing cubes I have. However, they do work as advertised and seem to be durable. You have to be very conscious of not catching the fabric in the zipper when compressing - keeping your thumb under it as you zip does seem to help. I tested it on a pillow and on soft clothes - worked well on both although it does take some maneuvering to get it smooshed down to zip the compression zipper. I am not returning them - I think I will use them when traveling for soft things that I don't mind getting wrinkled like undies, pj's, scarves, etc.

Absolutely loves these compression packing cubes. I switched over to "modern", hard case luggage one side has an internal harness that holds clothes and the other side of the luggage is just a massive open space with a fabric zipper) recently and found that I don't love the cavernous side where clothes just crash around into each other during travel and spill out when you open your suitcase. These compression cubes are the perfect, low cost solution, as you can pack your clothes into them and put them into the large compartment and don't have to worry about everything falling out into a giant mess when you open your suitcase. It's a much nicer experience to pack and unpack when you don't have to reorganize things each time. You can also pack them and zip them down to be teeny tiny little packages which allows you room for other things (note: this compresses size, but not weight, so doesn't really allow you to pack "more", unless you want to pack more lightweight things). This is a must-have for travel!

I thought the point of thee would be to squash your clothes down to at least half their size but…I tried a rain jacket and it took a whole bag by itself and barely reduce the size of it even admirer using the double zippers!So these might be good to sort things out in your bag but not to compress much.At that price these bags are not worth to me at all so I returned them.
