No-Pull Dog Harness, Adjustable Soft Padded Vest with Reflective Stripes, Large, Black

We switched to the Amazon harness for our 23 pounds mini goldendoodle after he kept chewing through the old harness that had no padding. It has been 2 months now and this new harness has been a game-changer! He hasn't tried to chew on it at all - I think he loves the padded vest design. It seems much more comfortable for him and it's also secure and durable. We first tried the medium size but it didn't fit him well. The small size worked better, though we had to adjust it quite a bit - he is not a big dog. The adjustments were easy and it slips over his head with no trouble. So far, it's working great on walks/hike and he's happy with it. For the price, I definitely recommend it.

This is a great harness. It is sturdy without being terribly stiff. It fits the dog without getting in his way for movement. I don't expect any rubbing under his forelegs or chafing anywhere. My dog seems very comfortable in it. He is a 3 month old Austrailian Shepherd. I ordered a size small and there is enough adjustment (growing) room that it should fit him for quite a while. The handle on top is quite handy. The hardware is a little stiff for adjustments, but once you have it set, it won't move until you readjust it. The reflectiveness is very effective. He's a country dog so there are no street lights, but a flashlight finds him in an instant no matter what position or angle he is in.

Initially, I was considering a $45 harness from a top brand, but since my puppy was growing fast and would likely outgrow it within a month, I decided to give this one a try. The quality is impressive for the price, and while adjusting the fit isn't the easiest compared to some other harnesses, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. In fact, I was so satisfied with the value that I purchased another one when my puppy outgrew the first. One minor drawback is that this harness lacks a buckle for the neck strap, meaning you have to slip it over your dog's head. This was a challenge at first—my puppy resisted, making it a struggle to get on. Over time, he got used to it, so it’s no longer an issue, but if your dog dislikes things going over their head, you may prefer a harness with a neck buckle. I actually bought one of those style and used it for awhile but eventually switched back to this one as my dog grew. Once adjusted properly, which takes some effort (but only needs to be done once unless your dog is still growing), it fits well and is secure. The material, clips, and overall construction feel durable, and at around $10, it’s a fraction of the cost of premium brands. TLDR; If you're looking for a high-quality, budget-friendly harness, this is a fantastic choice. Just be aware that it may take some patience to put on if your dog isn’t used to slipping things over their head. Also, the adjustment method isn't as fast as some styles.

The overall quality is good and went beyond what I thought a house brand would be. It is an Amazon Basics product. My only complaint would be the sizing which turned to be smaller than I expected it to be. I bought extra large for my 106 pound Black Lab because he is 6-8 inches taller than d standard labs. He also has a massive chest but a smaller neck at 21 inches. He is not fat but physically large dog. I adjust 2 neck adjusters to max length to allow harness to ride off neck but at 1st point of neck meeting shoulder. The chest straps were made full long and it fits. His neck will get no choking from anything as it rides off neck. Im impressed with the fit and how nice and comfortable it is for him. Leash can be clip on off the back or on bottom chest. He's a big puller but now he's learning and can sense signals through the harness and leash. I rate a 5/5 and say go larger with most dogs 50# and up.

The Amazon Basics No-Pull Dog Harness works, but it’s nothing special. I bought it for the price and to buckle the dog in the car. He managed to chew through the plastic buckles, so I ended up buying another one. For the cost, it does the job, especially compared to some of the pricey options out there, but don’t expect top-tier durability.

Bought this for my large husky and it's a great fit and works flawlessly.

Appears to be okay quality but the sizing is all wrong, large dogs are German Shepard's, Labrador Retrievers and such. Ordered a Large and this is for a medium size dog, doesn't even come close to fitting my dog.

LOL there is no such thing as a “no pull” dog harness if your dog pulls, your dog pulls and you just need more training. No magic harness is going to fix that. That said, this harness rocks. It’s exactly what I was looking for and the second I removed the “Amazon Basic patch and ironed on my dog name, puppy was on point. It looks super official and I love it. It is durable, slips on easily, the straps are easy to loosen with growth, and I love that it wasn’t $75. Awesome awesome product. Save yourself the money off the expensive harnesses and get this one.
