ESP32 Dev Board Kit (2 Pack), Dual-core 32-bit 240 MHz Microcontroller Development, Onboard WiFi+BT, Python C Code, Example Projects Tutorial

Used these with their matching breakout boards to wire up some WLED controllers. With the breakout boards they were considerably easier to use than the other esp32's I have been using where I had to solder leads to them. Have not used them as stand alone board yet, only mounted to the breakout boards. I am currently running multiple led light strings and they have performed flawlessly. They are pinned out differently than the other ESP32's I have used on on other projects so be mindful to check before you attach to them. They were recognized by my computer rapidly and programmed very easily.

This is the LS1 motor of esp32s, if you compared them to car engines. This thing takes a beating. I initially stepped on it (sideways) on accident wearing heavy hunting boots, and aside from bent header pins, the board did not break or pop solders.. All the solder points are nicely done. Freenove has great documentation which is reason enough to go with a reputable brand like them or Lonely Binary if you want to ball out of control. I will buy these boards for as long as they make this revision. I finally killed the USB-C plug though. I only plugged in and unplugged cords from it around five or six hundred times I'm guessing before it finally broke an internal pin. Can't complain, the plug receptacle isn't protected otherwise, and the solder tacks are still solid.. I just plugged in the cord crooked too many times. The 2612WLED is a little weird, sometimes you have to program around it, or force that pin low at times you normally wouldn't, to keep the LED from turning on and killing your battery when running on battery. It can be useful, but can equally be in the way. It is _incredibly_ bright. Power cables are good quality too, and I really recommend their breakout board for these models. They make assembly so much easier with the screw terminals they have. Switch to screws, dupont wires on an esp are asking for a headache!

Lots of pins - 40 pins total on these. Onboard LED (GPIO2) and RGB (GPIO4) are nice (in Arduino IDE, use digitalWrite for the LED on GPIO2, and RGBLedWrite for the RGB led). SPI works at 80MHz, I2C works with touchpad controller, lots of program space and RAM. Do know that this board has a wider spacing between the two pin rows than the Espressif WROOM-32E board, as this is about 24.9mm between the rows. Freenove makes a breakout board that works well with it though, and I am happy with that as well. Freenove quickly responded and sent me a schematic of the board as well. I would certainly trust Freenove for products I might want to buy in the future as they seem to be well-designed and have good documentation.

This is a very impressive EPS32 DIY board. I have various ESP32s in my shop, but these are on steroids. I came across these board by mistake when I purchased their breakout board. I wasn't sure at first if they would do what I wanted but was pleasantly surprised. They have a built in RGB light, power led, tx/rx led, and a IO test light D02. Plus, it comes with Boot and EN buttons. The board provide 3v and 5v and several ground pins as well. It is very easy to program using VS Code and Arduino IDEs. This has to be one of the best Dev boards I've ever work with. The USB cables are of good quality too. Thanks FREENOVE

Appears to work fine. Quality construction and properly silk-screened. Supported by Arduino IDE2. Good value.

I prefer the esp32 over the arduino or the stm32. Easy to set up and use for all my electronics projects.

MUCH MUCH MUCH better wireless range than the boards where the antenna is not hanging out from the edge of the board like this properly designed board. For instance the "hiletgo board that dont have the pcb trace antenna hanging out could not even communicate 10 feet away behind a door. This one cand do much much more than that.

Éste es el primer módulo Esp32 que utilizo de un fabricante reconocido - anteriormente había utilizado módulos genéricos con relativamente pocos problemas pero muy inestables durante la etapa de desarrollo. Con estos módulos, la estabilidad es notable, además de que existe documentación impecable en YouTube y la página de Freenove. El MCU es genuino Espressif. En general, módulos bien fabricados, sólidos y documentados.

La carte esp32 fonctionne a merveille chez moi aucun soucis d'injections elle est carrément au dessus de mes attentes et pourtant j'ai un grand nombre de ses cartes esp32 et 8266 de different fabricants mais avec cette carte nous sommes carrément dans la cour des grands il lui manque juste une antenne externe malgré que je rencontres aucun problème de réception mais pour l'intégration dans une boite ou dans une armoire électrique ça pourrait être bien. ( qui peut le plus peu le moins 😉) Merci au ingénieurs insi qu'au fabricant et continuez comme ça 👍
