The cotton candy of the natto world
This was the first natto I tried, and I thought it was thoroughly disgusting in ways that defy description in the English language. But, no choice; I'm taking it for the mk7 because I have abnormal, extremely early onset osteoporosis, and I'm under orders to get all the "bone" vitamins from food sources on top of the mountainous piles of supplements I'm also taking. So I landed on just grabbing a couple handfuls straight out of the bag and chomping on it dry just to get it down every day. Now, while that description might sound like it wouldn't quite warrant this five-star review... hear me out. Because I recently purchased a different brand of batto that was larger, for a better price.Natto is natto, right?NATTO SO FAST.When the new bag arrived, I performed my now-usual osteoporotic self-flagellative routine and grabbed a handful, popped it in my mouth, started chewing, and.... gagged it right back out.It was... it was... I can't even describe how it was. Ick. ICK. How can natto, which is already indescribably bad, be made indescribably worse?? However that is, the cheaper natto brand figured out how to do it. I can only speculate, such as wondering if they perhaps fermented THEIR natto in cat urine in an effort to improve the taste, but the attempt sadly backfired and made a bad thing worse.Downside: Wasted money on that other natto, and natto ain't cheap.Upside: Made THIS brand of natto taste like carnival cotton candy by comparison and I'm sorry I wasn't appropriately appreciative before. I've left the other bag of natto sitting next to it on the counter so every time I grab this one, I'm reminded to be grateful as I choke it down.

Freeze Dried Natto
This freeze dried Natto product is pretty good. I have since ordered another pack. The thing I miss is the familiar "strong aroma" of other Natto products that I usually purchase at my local Asian grocery store. But, no worries. The taste is good for a freeze dried product. When preparing this freeze dried Natto, I usually add just a little water (water just level with the top of the beans) in a small microwave safe dish, and warm it up for 1 minute at 50% setting to start the rehydrating process. I let it set for at least 15 - 20 minutes. After 15 +- minutes, I stir it up and let it set for another 10 +- minutes, checking the consistancy of the Natto.Since I'm going to consume this over hot gohan immediately, this method has worked for me. Also, add one's favorite sauce condiment.Thank you!

Natto is a super probiotic. Feed your gut biome.
I love Natto as a quick and healthy snack. They are high in probiotics, which as we know are essential for a healthy gut biome, aka our "2nd brain". The smell, texture and taste are all enticing. I would eat them more often, but they are very expensive per ounce, otherwise I would be giving Natto five stars, and eating it daily.

Tiny package and incredibly overpriced
Significantly smaller than I was expecting for the price, only slightly larger than my hand and even rehydrated gave very little. Was hoping to find a way to store bulk natto but for the price it is not worth it at all. You can buy fresh/frozen natto at any Asian store for less than a third of the price. Taste was okay, not great compared to regular natto, but that’s to be expected for something freeze dried. Would be worth the purchase if the price wasn’t so exhorbitant.

Good replacement for regular natto
This is nice for people who are afraid to try natto. You can mix up as little as you want to try without wasting it. I can't get regular natto without buying it in bulk, so this is a great alternative. It's important to note that it is small bean natto, which tastes a little milder than the large bean. Yes, some of the dried beans are broken during shipping. I just mix them in with the whole beans and eat it anyway. It doesn't make much difference. I really recommend this for beginners especially and for people who don't have access to fresh natto.

Its good, ist time user.
Its not what i expected. I added water and turned out it was good but i added too much water folliwed instruction..if i ordered it again i would cut back on the amount of water to rehydrate.

Freeze-Dried Natto Beans
A very healthy product with a good taste. It's mildly bitter, almost coffee like flavor, taste a bit like soy sauce. I use to buy nattokinase extract, but this is packed full of vitamins and nutrients you wouldn't get with that so I feel its a better option. I hear some people don't like the flavor, but the way they prepared this natto makes it smell and taste very good. Like a mild chocolatey coffee like smell. I wasn't sure if I would like natto, but now after finally having it I look forward to making it at home.

Japanese soybean meal
I purchased this due to its high content of vitamin K which is good for your blood pressure however after following the directions which did what it was supposed to I personally found that the texture something I found hard to consume. I found it to be very slimey and bland tasting even after adding soy sauce and sesame oil. Some might find it likeable but it wasn't what I was expecting.
