I needed these hard to find Normally Closed momentary switches as power-break electronic resets for my buggy German car and my buggy doorbell camera that need very often power interruption resets. They are small and innocuous. 👍🏻😎👌🏻

I bought LED tape lights and added to interior of my Liberty Explorer 26 safe. I wanted the lights to turn "off" when the door closed, so I added this pushbutton at the base where the door closed. (Make sure you purchase the correct switch, as some are designed for "always off" so they turn on when the button is pushed, while others (like your refrigerator) are designed for "always on" and turn off when the button is pushed.After reading other's reviews about trying to solder the wires to the switches - only to screw up the pushbutton switch by melting it, I decided to go another route. I simply went to the auto parts store, and bought the smallest "female" spade connectors I could find. These switches have micro spades on them, and the smallest "female" spades I could find were still a little too large. However, even though the female automotive spades weren't the correct size, I found that I could slide the pushbutton's spade into the female connector, and just crimp it a little, and it held onto the spade plenty tight. (If this was being used on a car, or something that vibrated, this probably would not work - but for a safe that never moves or vibrates, it will last a lifetime.)Lastly, the steel that I drilled thru to install the pushbutton, was about 1/8" thick. (Yes, I was surprised my "safe" only had 1/8" thick steel around the door frame). And when I went to install the pushbutton, I only had about 3 or 4 threads to get the nut on. So, if you're installing these to anything thicker than 1/8" you might not have enough threads to get the nut on - so double check the measurement diagrams on Amazon's site to make sure these will work for you (Side note: The drill I used was about .280" in diameter, and the body slid through the hole perfectly... I measured the body with calipers at .270" in diameter.)Final thoughts: Would I buy again? Absolutely. But I would definitely use female spade connectors and not try soldering. Also, it's unfortunate that I only found these in 20-packs, as I only needed one. But, for the price, you'll discover that you're paying the same for 20 on Amazon, that you will pay for 1-someplace else. (Maybe I'll but more tapelights, and line the inside of my bar cabinets... and use the other 19-pushbuttons on each of the cabinet doors? LOL)

Quick delivery plus they work. Also, the hardware - nuts and washers fit well and the threads match the nuts. This sounds strange but I had to discard a number of push button switches that could not be mounted due to the nuts not being able to thread on. These are all good.

I make noise toys & other components for CB's & the buttons work great for triggering them . No issues with them at all they seem to be well made
