Got these as birthday present. Be prepared to ‘go hard or go home.’ We used bricks and hammers and after 4, and lots of dust, we needed a rest. Perfect for any crystal enthusiasts or children with an inquisitive mind.

As good as it looks

My kids enjoyed breaking the stones but were disappointed as there was no variety of types and colours, they were all the same geode.

I bought these for my young son. They were incredibly hard work to get into and took a long time. My brother and I ended up on my doorstep, smashing these tough little blighters with a huge hammer. Not something that children could safely manage or really be part of. My boy enjoyed reading the enclosed information about geodes and enjoyed watching his uncle working hard to get into them! He was a little disappointed at the lack of variety as lots of different colour geodes were mentioned in the information but all of the ones we opened were the same type. I suppose that's luck of the draw though and it would be difficult to guarantee a mix.

I mean for the fun of breaking the geodes is fun, however we had the exact same crystal with all 10 geodes, and my nearly 11 year old wants to be a geologist…. Which broke her heart…. I get you may get the same a few times! But all 10!!!

I bought them for my 6 year old nephew. He had a week with us and I wanted to surprise him. He was fascinated.

These are cool I cut them open with a grinder and tile disc. Kids love them

Die Geoden sind toll, genau richtig für Anfänger zum Sammeln. Es ist ein kleines Abenteuer, diese zu öffnen und den Inhalt dann zu entdecken. Unsere Kinder freuten sich sehr darüber. Dankeschön.

So far so good.I use my dremmel to cut through which is some what tedious work. I haven't found any color yet but the regular clear crystals which is common. I can't complain, each one is unique in itself. Overall good stuff!
