Fantastic! This is a solid mounting arm. Feels well constructed and all metal parts are of a heavy gauge.I have a 17 inch Thinkpad P17 on it and it holds like a boss.Not the fault of the arm, but it's a bit hard to dial in the tension adjustment to properly support the weight and not fly up when I lift the laptop, but I think the weight of the laptop is the culprit. It should be easier to tune the tensioner with a lighter laptop.Also, the laptop plate mounts via standard VESA bolts, and it supports 75mm and 100mm mounts. So it can be converted to a monitor arm quite easily.My coworker saw it and now he wants one!

Very fluid, works as intended. I’ve had it for 6 months now and move it around frequently. It’s very sturdy and high quality. It’s great knowing that I can add a monitor instead of the laptop stand if my setup changes. The strap for the laptop is in a terrible location and you can’t shut the laptop with the strap tied. It will interfere for charging and ports depending on your laptop as well. I would’ve preferred some kind of a magnet set up to secure the laptop to the platform. Laptops with rear ports would work best. I have a hub so it’s not too big of a deal for me.

So far so good. Went together very easily and instructions are easy to use. Wish the screws for the mount was black instead of silver, but that's a minor nit pick. Seems sturdy enough.Some improvements would be a pad for the clamp that tightens against the bottom of the desk and a solid base or cover instead of hollow on the bottom shell that sits on top of the desk.Adjustments are what I would expect at this price point and the value does seem nice. It helps save me room putting my Macbook on my desk and makes it easy to just turn and utilize it as needed. Easy to adjust the tension for the arm and I like the included adjustable side bars to make sure laptops are locked in. Moves around easily and the tilt is nice as well. Exactly what I was looking for without spending a lot for something that is overbuilt for my use case.I used this on the side of my Secretlabs Magnus Desk and had no issues with clearance. I did buy some 1/4" flat plastic shims to go under the mount so the base doesn't put indentions in the top of my desk mat.

Nice and sturdy, holds my relatively heavy Framework Laptop 16 no problem. The mechanism to lock it in place works pretty well wrapped around its hinges. I expect based on its design that it should accommodate most laptops. Makes my laptop screen much more usable when docked and puts my fingerprint reader and webcam within reach. The mechanism to mount it to a desk or table is quite rigid and does not require any drilling if you have a decent lip. The arm is plenty long and the height and angle can be adjusted just about any way you like.

Using in my music studio. Great space saving accessory as it folds compactly and has excellent range of motion. Actuates very easily while stable enough to hold a set position and support the weight of my Mac Air.

This product is well constructed and was easy to install, but the arm is too short for my large desk. No matter where I clamp it, the laptop is too far back from my desktop monitors and creates aesthetic imbalance. It would be prefect it the arm was 6” longer.
