Plays nams. Runs with the big dogs.
I love this pedal and run it side by side with a Quad Cortex. Given the difference in price, I'd say it's a pretty good bargain. I bought it because it has a NAM slot for fx pedals, a NAM slot for amps, and of course the standard IR loader. All work fine with NAMs and IRs from TONE3000 and the built in amps and fx are no joke either. If you have used a multieffects/ampsim before, it's very easy to use and program. Nothing special to report on that. Sounds great in recording (yes it does to dry out to the DAW) and great with a PA system. Although, you may have to lower the highs a little. It can sizzle a bit with some house systems, depending on the speakers used. But that seems to have been my experience with most sims. Before you buy a Stadium or QC, I would recommend you check this out first. It just might meet your needs before you lay down all that cash. I don't regret buying mine.

Closest to a Pod-go killer
Great pedal with a ton of features and sounds, the software is easy to install and use, and the added bonus of a dedicated asio driver means you can have studio quality sound in live streams, recordings, etc. There is a bit of a learning curve to the looper as you can't swap tones with the foot switches only the dial, which in a live setting is a huge let down (please valeton copy line6 and have it 1 button). As for tones this comes packed with multiple cabs and effects, and the ability to add custom IRs is Great. The wah toggle is a bit wonky out of the box and can be hard to trigger the toe stomp Control. Overall loving this pedal and the features it has. For the price it's a must have for any level of guitar player or bassist (yes it has bass tones too).

Sounds amazing!
This is an amazing processor pedal. I am a gold and platinum producer and use it in the studio. Awesome sound and love the stereo XLR balanced outputs. It's like having every effects pedal. One of the best effects processors I have seen and the price is crazy cheap.

best value for money modeler on market
Sold my Kemper and Axe fx couple years ago, started to get back into the modeler space but didn't want to spend 2-3 grand.. Figured i would try this since they added NAM capture support. Absolutely blown away and impressed beyond measure. Signal chain Guitar to pedal board to GP200. Outs are Balanced L/R strait to pair of Kali IN-8's. Using Ownhammer and Enzo Townshed Vintage 30 IRs. everything sounds great.

Well made
GP 200 is solid and well made. The amps and most of the cabs sound great. The modulation effects are just ok. Reverb and delays are good. Can't beat it for the money.

For the money, this is a great pedal. You will spend three times more on a Helix, but I don't think that you are getting three times more features and quality. However, my complaint is the overall problem with amp modellers in general. The sound engineers and designers are getting very close with trying to emulate your favorite amps and effects. Close, but....not quite there. I found that with this unit (and perhaps even the higher end brands) the articulation and response isn't quite what you will get from a real tube amp. For what this is, it is quite decent and only the player will know the difference. After watching some very good reviews on this pedal, I learned that it is a bit on the dark side and has to be compensated with EQ tweaks in the global EQ settings. This is very true. My experience is that when engaging the simulated cabs, it puts a 'blanket' on the tone and the articulation and response is significantly diminished. My solution is to use the amp models only and then tweak the global EQ to make it sound like a cabinet. This will let you maintain the articulation and response that you need. The key is to roll off the highs and lows so that you get close to the frequencies of an actual guitar cabinet. You might also want to boost some of the mids a little bit. In any case, this has made this pedal useable for me. I still have a variety of amp models at hand, even if I'm limited to one cabinet tone. The effects are very good although I've found that there are only a few overdrives that work for my tastes. The amp overdrives themselves are quite good. The BadCat Clean is amazing and is my go-to. The functionality is very basic in that you only get one pedal chain, but for my purposes it is enough. I love the colorful display and switches. One thing is for sure...it beats packing around a 50 pound guitar amp! I'm getting too old for that! LOL!
