Great book even if only to browse

Please don’t ever make me choose my favourite Tilly Rose book! In “Among the Wildflowers “Tilly immerses us in the story of the glorious flowers and plants on the pages, and then with the aid of transfers, inspiration and help with the practicalities of slow stitching enables us to bring our own embroidery to life. The photos are sumptuous and the samples inspiring. Now I just need some cloth and thread!

I am so very happy to now have Lizzy new book and cat wait to spend time browsing and of course stitching , Tilly has such lovely ideas and is such an inspiration.

This is a beautifully written book by Tilly Rose with some really good photographs of how and what to make in a slow stitch way. Tilly Rose has her own way of doing things in what my mother would have called a faffy way as in not everything is useful or usable in a practical sense which is how I would normally sew. I am not an embroiderer but would love to learn but for me unfortunately Tilly's stitching guide is a little lacking in detail. I do however love the re-usable embroidery transfers and their size is great too as quite a few others I have seen are rather small with a little too much detail for a beginner.

I had to wait for this book as part of a birthday package, so worth the wait… don’t know what to get started on first

Lots of lovely designs and instructions on stitches. Also, full size templates in the back of the book. I love it x

It inspires me

I love this book. So beautiful and the little stories are precious. I am able to envision how to mix/match stitches to make the most lovely, ethereal flowers and plants. Even if you don't stitch, this is a great addition to your coffee table collection.

Just another great book to add to my collection

I loved DayDream Journals and so preordered Among the wildflowers.I was hoping there would be more too it than just embroidery designs. I will admit to being a bit disappointed. The iron-ons are handy but they are usually just a one time (maybe a bit more) use. I didn't find anything new here. A pale comparison to DayDream journals in my opinion. I wish books like this came with a link to the design electronically so we could use them easily over and over.
