Good quality desk calculator

Brilliant calculator to keep at your desk, a good size, with big buttons and screen for ease of use. Takes 1x AA battery which are easy to come by (solar powered too) all in all a good quality calculator at a very good price.

I didn’t read the dimensions of this calculator so I was VERY shocked by the size of it when it arrived!!! (It’s huge!). I’ve grown to love that though as it makes it easy to use quickly Must mention though, although it’s solar powered, when I sit in a dark corner (eg no light directly above) or cover the solar panel, the display turns off!! Seemed really strange to me, luckily there is an option to use 1 AA battery so I’ve done that and it’s fine now.

It's a same quality as casio calculator but much cheaper. Big button and easy to use in a fast pace. It looks stronger and it is. More digits and sldo more functions. You need to have AA batteries. Not the small button cells. So it's actually easy to change. You don't need to look for a button cell's number to buy a new one. You know which battery it goes with it. So I recommend to anyone to have a try with this one.

This has a quality look and has large easy read display that fits into a (nearly) flat presenter. Perfect for basic calcs, probably does alot more than I use it for. Easy for quick calculations without having fiddly buttons to overkey or make mistakes. This item is not only at such an excelant low price but it feels as good as one I have that is far more expensive.

Nice big calculator. has a battery as well as solar charging, does everything I need it to. Good value for money and arrived promptly

Long life battery

I was hoping this would have been as good as my old Canon TX-1210E calculator which has finally started to die after 18 years use. The calculator is fine as long as you put a battery in, but what I cannot see is if the solar will charge the battery to keep it alive. I suspect not. Without a battery the calculator works to 6 numbers then if you go to 7 it starts to fade.

I love these calculators Big buttons, easy to find under all the paperwork. No miss hits with the buttons, calculate once to get the right answer.

Mein alter Solarrechner hat den Geist aufgegeben.Ein neuer Solarrechner mit entsprechenden Funktionen mußte her.Bei diesem Rechner fand ich das Preisleistungsverhältnis und funtionen für den Preis gut. Salarfunktion auch vorhanden.Klein und handlich als Tisch oder Taschenrechner. Fazit: die Tasten sind etwas wackelig,Solarfunktion ohne Batterie geht nur über direkte Lichteinwirkung. Kommt man mit der Hand drüber geht der Rechner aus.Also Batterie muß sein will man es verhindern. Brauche ihn nur gelegentlich,daher für mich ok. Für den Preis empfehlenswert,würde nochmals kaufen.
