Better size
My cat requires subcutaneous fluids and has for years. He has become quite anxious about it so I looked into it using AI. It recommended a smaller needle. I ordered this size and it has been a bit less bothersome to Bob.

Painless
You get a iffy feeling when you read the one star reviews about pain. I don't know what the problem is. I bought the 25gauge and I can barely feel the needle piercing my skin. These are fine. They are sharp enough. No spurs or barbs. I wouldn't say terrific because it still a freaking needle but as far as needles go and self-jabbing, these are ideal.
