Seems to work great! I only used the amount I needed in a spray ball vs using the whole mixture.

100 year old remedy for ants, roaches, silverfish...
Ok, I first saw this as a potential ant killer in So California at an estate sale of a man who had been an alchemist in the 1920's, that is a combination hardware store, pharmacy, and notions store proprietor. Today's pharmacist, but in those days the Alchemists sold a lot more than pharmacy rivals and very little had warning labels attached. The book I found, authors name illegible, dated 1890, was a $10 curiousity for my coffee table until today he rainy day I learned through it, and as ants we're coming in looking b to avoid flooded nests.....the Book had just the thing...."How to get rid of Ants, roaches and silverfish, a barn yards guide"...I tried it....it works better than ANY other product. Buy Borax powder, about 4 oz will do. Mix 1 Tablespoon* with 3 tablespoons honey. Paint the mixture on a white thick cardboard or index card, place where ants are. Next day ants will be surrounding it and eating their way to the center. (use a throw away plastic covers me for safety, boron is poison)....in 2 days the bait will mostly be gone and a lit less ants will be there, many weaving oddly, like dizzy. Day 3...one or two ants, Day 4...none. None at the bait, none in the nest, none hidden away in egg cases to rise again for..a year or more. Boron goes into them but exits only when the dead ant is consumed by its cannibal friends, and poisons them, and continues right up to the Queen and her princesses eggs, Queen ants love honey. To kill roaches mix a bigger amount of borax powder with mayonnaise and honey in a paper bowl, America little on the edge and dribbling down one edge...they will swarm it and do the same as the ants...so will silverfish. I have seen spiders both eat it or run away so I thought think someone taught them about being careful what they eat versus the glutton insects who gorge and die in the thousands. It lasts at least a year in So California, but it IS poison. Do not use around pets or children, or adults that cannot just leave it to work without touching it or moving it. Afterwards, pick up with gloves and toss in the trash inside a sealed plastic bag you mark..Poison on.
