Perfect replacement for an “out of service” battery

Works and looks like the batteries that came with drone.

This is a fun little drone. Is fairly well in winds 5-15 mph. The video is a shakey, but to be expected with a two axis gimbel. I came with one battery, I purchased a second one. One of the batteries only lasts for about 3-4 minutes after full charged and due to the low battery it won't let you fly past 30m . The other battery is fine . I get 12- 16 minutes of flight time with windy conditions. And 14- 18 when it's calm. It does take great pictures. I'm sure the video is great as well when it's calm. I posted a video flying in 3-13 mph winds. Very easy to fly. Great starter drone.

If you are getting into the hobby, and are leery of sending a higher dollar unit into a pond or tree - this unit here will get you familiar with the features of higher end drones and drone operations in general. Its referred to as a "toy" drone - but when you pop open that box and actually put your hands on the drone and controller - I absolutely do not get that impression. This is an excellent value. Beginner mode + camera mode in a wide open space = perfect training environment.

Not even a year old and used not even 10 times, and this battery has already failed. I actually have three of these, two that came with the unit and one that I purchased. All three of them are puffing and will no longer fit in the drone and they will no longer hold an appropriate charge to run the drone. Highly disappointing as once these batteries failed the drone becomes unusable, and there are no other suppliers where you can obtain these batteries. And on top of that, they tend to be out of stock. I understand that lithium ion batteries have a finite life span, but less than a year with light usage is unacceptable.

I'm new to drones, and the HS360S ONLY comes with one battery. This has become VERY frustrating, especially when learning to fly where you need the flight time to learn. Initially these batteries were not available, so when it became available I bought one. But is it half the price of the drone! Ugh. I can now fly the drone to get the images I want and have some fun without being too frustrated. But the 3 or more hour recharge time is also excessive. Oh well, for now it works. But this can certainly be an expensive hobby! Of course, it only seems to work for the HS360S, which is frustrating if I were to want to upgrade within the HS product line. In the era of being environmentally conscious you'd think HS could build drones with interchangeable batteries across the product line. Only 3 stars because of cost relative to drone price, recharge time and lack of swapping within product line.
