Simple, clear display with basic functionality
This digital clock features a large, bright LED display that is easy to read from across the room. The faux wood design is minimal and blends well with most furniture. It uses a 12-hour format with clear AM/PM indication. There are no advanced features like Bluetooth or multiple alarms, but for basic timekeeping and a snooze function, it performs reliably. Suitable for bedrooms or offices where a clean, no-frills clock is needed.

Great clock, great look, great features, great price
Great clock, great value. The numbers look great, nice and clear despite the false wood facade. Adjustable brightness is perfect for anywhere you want to put it.And the clock has easy buttons for anything you want to do, so you don’t need to dig through settings or menus figuring out how to set it. There’s even a button to go on/off daylight savings time in one click, so you don’t need to reset the clock entirely twice a year.Love this!

Love the "hidden" display
This little clock was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it for my wife to place on her nightstand. I knew that she would not be happy with a large clock that captured your attention. This one is subtle, small and is a tasteful addition to the bedroom. I was perplexed when I first opened the package. I thought that I had gotten a clock with a manufacturing defect. There was no screen for a display. I connected it to the power supply and the time display "burst forth" on the front surface. I thought; "This is so cool!" To explain, when not powered up, the display side of the triangular clock looks just like the wood grain elsewhere on the clock. The time is only visible when powered from the power supply. Otherwise, someone not familiar with it might not have a clue as to what it is when it is off. I really like that feature.Another surprise. When I was learning how to set the brightness level, I was doing it in a well-lit room. It appeared that on the "01" brightness setting (lowest except for the "off" setting) was not working. I then turned off all lights in the room and the time display at the "01" was clearly visible. So, it the illumination setting at its lowest is very dim, but easily visible, which is exactly what you want if lights interfere with your sleep. So, don't make wrong assumption that I initially did. Of course, as noted in the description, the alarm sound level is also adjustable. It has a conveniently located snooze "spot" on the very top which is probably where your hand would naturally land when you reach for snooze to squeeze out another 9 minutes of sleep. The battery backup is nice so that you don't lose the time and alarm settings if you unplug the clock or have a power outage. However, you do not have to install batteries (2 AAA) in order for the clock to operate when it is connected to the power supply. (Be aware that if it is not connected to a 110V outlet, the batteries only protect the memory (time, alarm) and the display does not work until power is restored. It is also nice to have a USB port located on the back of the clock for phone charging.I like it a lot and am glad I chose this one.

Love this clock.
Absolutely love this clock. Best ever. Dimmer control is an awesome option. Clear, easy to use. Large display. Keeps time during power outages, time restores at electric restoration, no reset needed. Amazing how you can't see the numbers, only wood grain, if it's off. How do they do this? sleek design. Wood Grain is beautiful accent piece. Doesn't look like a typical cheesy desk or dresser clock. Sits in a prominent position on entertainment system in living room.

Mostly a good, attractive clock, with a few small annoyances
The Good:The clock is mostly attractive, as well as unusual in appearance, with a triangular body and a wood-like finish. While not actual wood, it has a nice wood like appearance, and the numbers show through the wood grain. You don't see any holes in the wood grain for numbers that are off. There are five brightness settings, making it easy to find settings that work day and night. I can easily read the clock across the room during the day, and set it dim enough that it doesn't bother me at night. Unfortunately, I find that my preferred daytime setting is 3 and night time is 2, so if I don't want to change it, it is either slightly too dim in bright sunlight, or slightly too bright at night. But the clock is usable at both settings at all times. One well designed feature is the brightness button is the leftmost button, so it is easy to adjust the brightness in the dark. I would have preferred a clock with a light sensor and an automatic dimmer. The controls are easy to use, and the buttons are easy to press. Unlike most digital clocks, there are + and - buttons for adjusting the time, so you don't need to go all the way around to set the clock back, (and don't have to worry about going too far, and needing to cycle again!)There is a battery backup. While the display turns off when the power is out, the time does come back when the power comes back. The alarm seems to work. Since I generally use my phone as an alarm, I haven't done much testing. After a week, the clock appears to keep time well. The Bad:There does not appear to be a low battery indicator. I guess I'll find out when the batteries are low after a power fail. Furthermore, without the battery, the clock resets to midnight and doesn't flash, so if it happens to reset near midnight, the clock could be wrong, but I wouldn't know it. I don't know how long the batteries last, but if I want to rely on it, I'll need to test the batteries every so often.I like to set my clocks accurately. Generally, when I set a digital clock, I'll set the last minute just as the minute ticks over on my phone. For this clock, the time set mode times out after 15 seconds, so I have to be carefully when setting the time exactly. Furthermore, the + button is also the alarm on button (when not in time setting mode), so if I'm not careful, I can accidentally turn on the alarm. The power cord is a bit on the short side. I keep my clock on a chest of drawers, and it won't reach to the front. The Ugly:The snooze button is a touch sensitive spot on the top of the clock unlike the other physical buttons. This is a good feature; however, it is indicated by a large painted on button with a pointing finger. It is rather cartoon like. (You can see it in one of the pictures.) For a clock that is otherwise attractive this is a blemish.Despite its minor faults, I'm generally happy with the clock.
