There are lots of options on Amazon for this kind of adapter with a wide range of prices. I went for a mid-range price and an absolutely not disappointed with this product. This surely made, connects tightly to both plug and car, and - most importantly! - it works really well. No sign of overheating. Would definitely recommend.

Back in 2021, I got my first hybrid vehicle with a Type 2 connector which rendered my Type 1 wall box charger obsolete. I had looked at similar products on another online selling site as they didn't exist on Amazon at the time. They were very expensive and I was very sceptical. Moving on to this year when my new hybrid car arrived and I found that Amazon were selling these, I took a chance and I have to say, I am not dissapointed. As others have said, the product is well made, fits well and does not overheat. I can now use by Type 1 wallbox again which saves hours in charging time compared to charging the vehicle via a 3-pin domestic supply. As well as going through the expense of changing my existing wallbox to a Type 2 compatible one.

I had an original charger with the old connector. This converts it to the latest plug configuration. Worked first time!

Adapter feels very solid and well made. Fits well onto type 1 cable and plugs securely into vehicle with Type 2 charging socket. I did wonder if there may be any fire hazard but the adapter does not get warm whilst in use (using 3.6kw charger) . Works fine and allows full charge to be transmitted to the vehicle.

Apparently my car is only charging using 16A instead of 32A when using this adapter, despite the fact that the wall charger is able to provide 32A. I also find very weird the fact that there is no amperage information that comes with the adapter, none at all.

It suits correctly for my outlander phev with type 2 cable in public ac slow charging station.

Compatible 100% con el cargador del coche. En este caso se usa para cargar una C Evolution electrica.

Funciona perfectamente, lo he probado ya en 3 cargadores y fenomenal yo he cargado mi moto electrica el patinete e incluso la bateria de la autocaravana, OJO siempre cargadores sin cable osea los que enchufas tu tu cable, muy importante algunas veces para empezar a cargar he tenido que pulsar el boton de liberación, no se si es por que la última vez quedo pulsado o por que, no os preocupeis por que no libere el cable con el pulsador que lleva el mismo lo liberas tu cuando quieras. Esta muy bien MUY BIEN y se le ve con calidad, lo recomiendo al 100X100
