Just over 1 year after I purchased this hose it developed 2 leaks in the hose fabric. The first leak was small but the second leak was very large. So why did I give the hose a 5 star rating? The hose worked very well for a year but after the failure a message to the dealer resulted in an immediate offer to supply me with a new hose at no charge. The company stands behind their product. The replacement hose was a different model as the Copper Bullet has been removed from sales most probably due to a high failure rate.

The lightness of this hose will lighten your gardening burden, but in EVERY one I have (I've bought 6 50' hoses) the hose protector breaks after about 2 months. See photo. I'm very careful about storing out of sun, emptying after use, etc. I've used hose tape, found on Amazon, to repair/reinforce the protector. Also, I've attached 2 50' hoses to make 100 ft length..and it is a pain to rewind, and I can't find a hose wheel for it... I'll be interested to see how long these last. 11/10/25 update. I've purchased 6 50' hoses for my 1/3 acre yard in Boulder, CO (2 in '23, 4 in '24). I attached them to make 100'. So far 3 hoses have survived. Mortality in the other 3? Holes appeared in the hose itself, squirting water everywhere.. no way to repair the nylon- Copper weave hose. The nozzles start leaking water at their spout after about a month, and, beware, you can't use a garden water wand with this hose, as it doesn't create enough pressure to fill the shower nozzle, so water comes out in a flood instead of gentle rain like spray. All in all, I'll probably wind up replacing all the hoses, sadly.. as I was, like many, intoxicated by the chance to have a very light hose! Great marketing, great idea, but not ready for prime time as they say.. Will change my rating to 2 stars

I had it for almost a year then it broke out of nowhere. I call them and they replaced it for me immediately and no hassle.

This hose is incredible! Expands when water is turned on and collapses when faucet is turned off so it neatly fits in a small space. And it has been durable! Highly recommend.

Hose is great for a spray hose but if you want to use it as a sprinkler hose, it doesn't work as well - isn't as convenient. You can't really stretch it out as far as it will go to place the sprinkler - unless your water is on - otherwise it bounces back. I've had to stake it to the ground to get it to hold and then have to turn the water off to move it. The hose is light weight and does easily store and doesn't kink. It does retract on its own. So far, it's holding up in the direct sun. I like it as a spray hose but not as a sprinkler hose. The spray nozzle is why I'm giving this just 3 stars. It is supposed to be a $30 value but it's cheaply made and leaks around the spray pattern selector. I get more water out of the selector than I do out the nozzle. I bought a cheap spray nozzle at home depot that works much better.

I have had this hose for about 14 months. I use it almost every other day during spring, summer, and fall. It gets to 110 degrees in the summer and down to the 30's in the winter. This hose saved space, never kinked, and was super easy to use and roll up to store. The spray nozzle broke after about 6 months, but that was due to my kids dropping it on the concrete. It was still great to use even without the nozzle. I loved the on/off lever to save water while walking between watering locations. Just today I went to use it, and there was a hole near the connection point under the rubber protector. I have no idea how it got there, but luckily I purchased the protection through Amazon, and it was super easy to get reimbursed for the product. I would still recommend this product, but get the protection to help ensure you get the most use out of it.

So far so good! Curls up nicely when empty and stretches to the full length. Seems much more sturdy than previously purchased cheaper hoses which have only lasted one season.

I bought this hose because I am tired of winding up hoses and dragging heavy hoses around. It feels like a very durable hose unlike the retractable cloth ones I had that sprung a leak due to tears. The nozzle works very well and feels like good quality. The hose and head look very nice and do not detract from the property. The hose retracts and shrinks as soon as you shut the tap off. I would expect it to wear very well due to the strong material that the hose is made of. I would recommend this hose.
