Used it to water proof grout in the shower (who knew that was a thing). Put on three coats after re grouting, it’s invisible and works well. After use cleaning is much easier and no more staining on grout. Well worth the money. We used a paint brush to apply. Quality product.

Quite easy to apply, with the 2 pipettes supplied. No indication of how long it lasts - like, typically 2 to 5 years. Preparation of clean, dry grout is essential

I applied this to my tiles in my new bathroom about two years ago. This stuff is an absolute pain to apply, especially to a fully tiled bathroom of metro-brick style tiles. You need to use an artist's brush and be diligient about washing off the excess. The upside of this is that it much less messy than the spray type. You're also concentrating the material in the grout lines rather than all over your tiles, so you're not wasting any. Once you get two coats down in a shower area it's basically bulletproof. Water beads straight off the grout and you can clean off soap scum easily with a sponge. Even now I never see the grout change colour when it gets wet. Go into it with eyes open to the time it'll take, but a few hours applying this is far better than having to redo the grout after 18 months because it got soaked.

I don’t often write reviews, but I felt obliged to given how good this was. I had a dodgy batch of grout that started breaking down after a couple of months. I was pretty gutted. I applied this (after trying others) as a bit of a last resort, and it’s been excellent. Water just rolls straight off of it. Still fine after a year. No mould. Would recommend

Not sure if this works. Followed the instructions but water doesn’t bead on the grout. Doesn’t discolour the grout and doesn’t smell too bad.

Easy to apply and stops grout getting dirty

I’ve applied this sealant to all the grout lines on my wall and floor tiles in the bathroom. There was plenty left over after applying it to the grout lines of 17sqm of tiles 600x300 tiles. It states to apply 2 layers but I did more round the shower area. It didn’t change the colour of our grey grout, especially after the first layer. But the grout still goes dark when wet. So I’m assuming it’s working as a sealant. But I can’t really tell. Easy to apply. You just need a small brush or sponge for the walls as the dropper provided is only for floor tiles.

WOW! Skeptical at first as when looking for this product "HG Wall & Floor grout protector" to STOP leaks from the shower when taking a shower, the wall tiles looked ok but on closer inspection you could see very fine breaks in the grout and gaps between tiles and grout. The floor under the bath was very wet after a shower. Having checked for leakage and small amounts of condensation I decided to use this product. I was told by local stores including B&Q this would not work (They had none in stock anyway) and tried to sell something else which was not even for the job. Any way I tried it yesterday followed the instructions apart from they say use 2 coats but I used 4, you cannot see when it is on no mess no staining of tiles or grout and very easy with a brush and yes again WOW! it works. Thanks again HG as I do use your products for most of my ventures.
