This is an amazing educational tool. My daughter has autism and she loves it. Previously she was very resistant to learning numeracy but Number Blocks helped to make adding and counting ect. fun, interesting, engaging and understandable.

Grandson really loved the challenges, he also loved the sound effects however preferred the sound of the wrong answer! Would recommend for 3 year olds.

Good and interesting learning book. My 5 year old love it

We bought this for our son’s birthday. We should have opened it to check it worked when received it, but presumed it would come in good working order, as it wasn’t cheap. The pen doesn’t work properly, so the product is not usable. Have tried different types of batteries and it doesn’t rectify the problem. Very disappointing for our little man in his birthday.

Fazit: Wenn Kinder mit Zahlen und leichtem Rechnen anfangen (etwas ab 3 Jahren), kann man (unter Erwachsenenhilfe), diese „Lernzeug“ wunderbar nutzen. Gerade durch die Interaktion mit dem Stift (Leuchten und Geräusche) ist das Interesse des Kindes stark! Leider sind die dazugehörigen Trickfilme nur in Englisch auf YouTube zu sehen, so dass Deutsche Kinder wenig mit Ihnen anfangen können! Für die derzeit geforderten 3354€ (Stand 14.08.2023) ist dieser Lernspaß zwar nicht ganz billig, sollte aber eine ganze Weile Spaß, Unterhaltung und Zahlenlernen mit sich bringen… Das „Numberblocks Learning Resources EI-2550 Hot Dots 1-10 - Aktivitätsbuch mit interaktivem Stift“, besteht aus einem Übungsbuch (174,5g Eigengewicht, 19x12,5x0,8cm) dessen dicke Pappseiten durch eine Spiralfeder (18,5x2,0Øcm) gehalten werden, und einem Interaktiven Stift (43,1g Eigengewicht (ohne Batterien); 16,5x2/3Øcm), die in einer Papp-Matrize liegend in einem Umkarton (der zugleich als Aufbewahrungskarton mit Henkel = 4x1,8x0,2cm) genutzt werden kann (402,15g Gesamtgewicht, 23x20x5cm). • Das Übungsbuch arbeitet mit den Zahlen 1 bis 10, wobei auch schon Addition und Subtraktion (in kleinen Schritten erlernbar sind). Die gestellten Fragen sind sehr einfach und kindgerecht! Zwar ist der Text Großteil in Englisch (siehe Unten), aber die Bilder zeigen sehr schnell worauf es ankommt! So können insgesamt 75 Aufgaben gelöst werden und dem Kind (erst einmal in Erwachsenenbegleitung) der Spaß an Zahlen aufgezeigt werden! Am Ende der Aufgaben ist eine kleine Bedienungsanleitung und ein paar hilfreiche Tipps in 5 Sprachen, abgedruckt. • Der Interaktive Stift besteht aus orangem Kunststoff und hat im unteren (schmaleren) Drittel einen dicken, blauen Gummiüberzug, der ein Halten und Nutzen wesentlich erleichtert. Der Stift läuft in eine schwarze, stumpfe Spitze aus, mit der die Antwortfelder im Übungsbuch (möglichst senkrecht) angetippt werden müssen. In der oberen Hälfte ist das Batteriefach (5,5x2,5cm, für 2 nicht mitgelieferte AAA-Batterien) durch eine Kreuzschlitzschraube gesichert und auf der einen Seite mit einem Halteclip ausgestattet. Dem Fach gegenüber ist ein kleiner Lautsprecher (1,5Øcm) und darunter ein blauer Knopf (1,0Øcm) angebracht, mit dem man den „Geräuschmodus“ des Stiftes An- und Ausschalten kann. Den Kopf des Stiftes krönt eine milchige, trübe Halbkugel (2Øx1cm), die bei der Benutzung Grün leuchtet, wenn die angetippte Antwort richtig, oder in Rot leuchtet, wenn die Antwort falsch ist! So kann das Kind schnellstmöglich alleine mit de Stift und dem Übungsbuch hantieren und selber die Welt der Zahlen für sich entdecken… Wie sein Äquivalente (TipToy) basiert das System auf dem antippen der richtigen Antwort mit dem interaktiven Stift. Wobei es bei den HotDots bisher nur um Zahlen geht! Diese wiederum werden als kleine, kantige Figuren dargestellt, die ihren Ursprung in der preisgekrönten, aber leider in Deutschland nur auf YouTube zu sehenden, BBC-Trickfilmserie „Number-Blocks“ basiert. Auch in Ihr werden Kinder spielerisch an die Welt der Zahlen herangeführt, um so später Rechnen zu lernen.

Esta bien, pero para los precios que tienen un cuaderno con algo más de información sería mejor. Porque se lo aprenden de memoria y luego ya no se puede usar. Podrían hacer packs con más cuadernillos para poder seguir usando el boli y practicando.

Ho preso questo libro di apprendimento interattivo dell’azienda Learning Resources, che propone nella sua linea di giochi prodotti che uniscono l’apprendimento al gioco, offrendo al bambino una valida soluzione per imparare diverse attività; in questo caso lo introduce all’apprendimento didattico della matematica, ispirandosi all’omonima serie animata Numberblocks (non ancora arrivata sugli schermi italiani, ma conosciutissima all’estero), attraverso la quale i bambini cominciano a comprendere il mondo dei numeri divertendosi. Il libro ci arriverà a casa insieme alla penna interattiva all’intendo di una scatola dedicata, che può diventare una comodissima cartella da viaggio essendo dotata di una maniglia che la trasforma in una piccola valigetta. È composto da circa 60 pagine rilegato con spirale. Il libro è strutturato in modo tale da far intraprendere al bambino un percorso di attività con crescente complessità. In tutto sono all’incirca 75 attività. L’ho utilizzato insieme al mio nipotino, che con il passare dei giorno sta cominciando a prendere confidenza con il sistema di gioco. In sostanza i bimbi vengono chiamati a svolgere un piccolo ragionamento agevolato dalle immagini per poi provare e selezionare la risposta corretta servendosi della penna interattiva fornita in confezione (necessita di 2 pile AAA non incluse); quest’ultima si illuminerà di verde quando verràtoccata la casella corretta, di rosso invece quando la risposta sarà sbagliata. Oltre al segnale luminoso è possibile premere un tasto che azionerà anche la segnalazione acustica, ora, oltre alla luce verde o rossa, in base alla risposta partirà un piccolo segnale acustico differente. La voce parlante sarà soltanto in inglese, ma poco importa, da questo punto di vista (almeno nell’ascolto) i bambini ormai sono abituati ad alcuni suoni anglofoni come yeah, good work, well done… Come vi dicevo le attività sono più o meno 75, e nonostante siano semplici per i bambini necessitano comunque di essere aiutati a comprendere di cosa si tratta. Ogni sezione è preceduta da un titolo, questa volta tradotto anche in diverse lingue compreso l’italiano, che però a poco serve ad un bimbo di 4 anni che non credo sappia ancora leggere. Poco male, semplicemente il bimbo deve essere affiancato almeno all’inizio. Quindi cosa dire di questo libricino? In sintesi ho notato, soprattutto con il passare del tempo, che mio nipote è invogliato a scoprire tutte le attività, e lo vedo più interessato ai numeri anche nella vita reale. È un gioco che può fare in totale autonomia dopo un primo periodo di affiancamento, e trovo sia semplice, intuitivo ed educativo. Quasi sicuramente acquisterò altri articoli di questa famiglia di giochi, augurandomi che possa crescere ed imparare divertendosi.
