Very detailed kit, definately worth the money, couple missing peices, but great kit!!
Very nice kit, and couple missing peices, definately worth the price. Needs your full attention, not for a very young builder, but very challenging and rewarding.

The Beast!
Up until now, I have been exclusively purchasing only lego sets. The problem is that the price of those sets is getting out of control. I remained on the fence until I heard that Nifeliz was releasing a 1:8 scale mustang and it was going to be an homage to racing legend Ken Block. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the packaging, the part bags being numbered in conjunction with the step numbers in the manual, the manual is high quality print with detailed instructions, and it came with both regular stickers and transfer decals. Mine had all the parts and all the parts had good fit and function. The build was challenging. I loved that it would show some assembly steps and what your goal was but it left it to you to get the parts assembled. I feel that is where the 16+ comes in. I know there are some that would say the instructions may not be clear but I felt this was intentional so that the individual builder could be creative in achieving the result. The end result is an impressive beast of a model. It gets positive comments from all the see it. All this at a fraction of the cost lego charges. You get a lot more for a lot less. To all those folks that I have seen post about adding motors to this kit, it would take some serious rework to make this happen. This is a BIG model and is HEAVY. You would need to beef up the drivetrain, steering, and suspension. Frankly, the thought of this model zooming across the ground is scary. Again, I love the thought and detail that John Wick and his team put into this build. The ‘HOONIKEN’? Perfect!

The build
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Been waiting this buid since last year but was iffy about it. But Finally gave in and got. 10/10 really enjoyed the build plus the car looks amazing when fully completed even know I was missing a few pieces.

Excellent value, hours of fun
Overall, this set is an excellent value. Some of the pieces, particularly the half-pin, half-axle pieces lack clutch strength. I was not missing any pieces. I did have one broken piece (a large angular body piece on the rear of the driver side), but it is in a position that a real drift care would get damage, so I am okay with it. The instructions were clear, but the assembly is challenging. This set will probably be frustrating for the impatient or careless. The fender flares are a clever design, but they do not stay on very well. You have to be careful picking it up - I have knocked pieces off multiple times (the floorboards around the cockpit are held together with regular studs and are not very sturdy). I ended up omitting some cosmetic pieces around the center console that are held on by a single stud - they fell off multiple times and don't add much value. My set doesn't roll very well, I think I have a misaligned axle in the drive train, but I am just going to display this, so I won't bother to fix it (probably close to starting over). In general the colors and piece quality is comparable to the market leader's.I am not a big fan of stickers, but the ones in this set are pretty good. The majority of them have an over-sticker to help with the application. I was generally able to get them on where I want them. These stickers are better than the market leader's. I don't like the stickers on the tires. They don't feel as secure as the other stickers. I also don't like that many stickers span multiple pieces - no disassembly permitted. The trademark infringements are hilarious. They differ enough to show that the company knew what they were doing was wrong, but not so much that the implicated brands are unrecognizable. The product is high enough quality that the trademark owners ought to be happy with the free advertising, but we all know they won't be.I probably spent 30 hours building this set, and had a lot of fun putting it together. I've already ordered another set from Nifeliz, so you know I liked it. I wouldn't recommend this for a child unless they are extremely patient and careful.

Pretty Impressive with some expected quirks
First off - I’m an avid Lego Technic enthusiast- but as I wait for the next Lego Technic to be released I have tried some of these Chinese knock off sets - this company has been the best of the rest - you will read in some reviews that these are just as good as Lego - that’s complete nonsense- they are nowhere near Lego quality- but a set of this size would be almost $400 with Lego - This set is $130 - rightfully so you should be concerned about missing pieces - with Lego - you can go on the website and order a missing piece - this company offers an email - and you gotta hope for the best - with this set I did have a couple minor missing pieces - but I was able to source them from my left over Lego Technic overflow pieces - most pieces are too tight - so have needle nose pliers in case of a situation where you have to remove it - some are to loose - so when turning the car they will fall out - then you will spend 20 minutes looking for the proper place - the instructions aren’t Lego quality but are serviceable- this company tends to do things a little backwards but it all works out - now for the complete disaster of the build - the fenders - absolute mind bending poor design- after hours I finally got them on - but one was loose and floppy - I took it apart - a small peg had broken in half internally ( not Lego quality ) I was able to abstract it and replaced it with a leftover Technic piece - another huge problem with this set was as follows - as always you assemble small bodies to be attached to the main body - without fail when trying to attach the small body to the main body - the car will fall apart - so make sure of your understanding of where things fall off - pay attention to the bags - they are numbered for each progression- not 1-8 like Lego - but like 568-589 - small markings on the bags etc - this set will include 2 sheets of decals - they are identical- one is standard - one is transfer decals - I found this to be an opportunity- I used them both and added decals wherever they would fit properly- overall this car came out fantastic- better than some of my Technics
