This product is inexpensive and not even worth 1/2 the price. It is so poorly made that for it to work it will likely cost you more than if you initially purchased a higher end product. Additionally, apparently instructions are never included. I did not receive any, and I have already responded to another purchaser's inquiry asking about it because they also did not receive instructions. Tried to rate a zero, but apparently that is not an option.

moved into a condo- i have spent the last several months assembling and installing several different electrical/furniture items.. without a doubt these instructions were the least user friendly I encountered. one example- it is unclear how far in you have to measure to install the door header rails. - it was a guess and check. You do have to drill several pilot holes. Since this is not well made - drill the holes longer than you need. You do not want the "wood" to splinter. when it was time to install - the height does not match up- the door header part is not flush so you need to add a 1/2 inch there, the post coming from the mount cannot go less than 1/2" there. Add in the carpet this door was going to sit on- it came out to be about 1/2" too long. Unfortunately- looking at several other doors it seems they all come from the same manufacturer , under different names, with the same installation and hardware.

This was supposed to be an “easy” install. Not the case. I tend to be a pretty smart person to put things together. Also very independent so I buy stuff that I can do on my own. The instructions were no help….at all. The wood split on parts that it asked for screws as well. This door was definitely a dream crusher. 😪

I am so close to returning this item. I'm going to try one more work around to make it fit. Despite you offering an upper vinyl fitting to cover the 3-in Gap, I have had nothing but problems getting the the bottom fitting to work. Because I have to raise this bottom piece, I am working with hollow drywall. So far the strongest anchors do not work and it's ripping a hole in the drywall. When you advertise an item in your header that it's 80 in, the item should be 80" not 77". I neglected to see the small print. Even the upper pieces to hang the door are unscrewed so far that it seems unsafe.

Don’t use this company. Amazon wasn’t forthcoming that half my order of similar products wasn’t coming from Amazon. Win Steller appears to not be able to fill a simple order from Amazons web site and they don’t have a phone number for the public. Amazon is usually great.
