Occasionally you buy a product and then EVERY time you interact with it, you think, "This was such a great purchase!" This is one of those items.After moving into a new house, we realized that there was very poor lighting around 80% of the exterior. I ordered a couple of these to try them out by the front door and around the side of the house by the trash cans. Not having to think about flipping a switch when I'm taking the trash out or when someone is walking up to the front door is just fantastic.I've since ordered four more to place above gates and along the fence in the backyard. I no longer have to wonder where my dog is at night when I let her out and there is a remarkable amount of security one feels when lights come on automatically. I imagine that these would also help to deter someone with unsavory motives when they approach the house from any direction.If you're looking for an inexpensive way to add lighting to your backyard or side of the house, these can't be beat! They are a breeze to install and at $6-8 a piece (depending on how many you order in a box), they're incredibly affordable. I haven't had any issues after a few months of use, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy replacements if I did.

They are about the size of a large index card and super light weight. I had them outside for maybe an hour charging the day I got them and as soon as it got to be dusk they all went on. The are VERY bright and turn on by motion so when you walk past them or by them they light up, they dont just stay on 24/7. I have had them out in the rain all night and still working perfectly. They have fallen off the porch and there isn't a scratch on any of the, they are very durable. Great litle lights. Took 1 stars off because I had to open two up and reattach the batteries as they had become loose and rattled around inside. Little bit of hot glue fixed them up. The 18650 battery wire clips into the PCB, so it can be removed without needing de-soldering. Easy for replacement, and tinkering.Not as bright as other 30 led solar lights of the same style I have purchased, but still a good deal at twelve greenbacks.These put off just enough light to light up the dark areas around my house at night. My next door neighbor loves that I put them up. She can see her way to the gate on the side of her house, and get to her trash cans without a flashlight. I have some other sets of these from the same manufacturer, Holan, and they have held up for about a year. I have noticed they need full sun for a 4-5 hours to last all night. This is not a problem for us here in South Texas, but I could see them not performing as well somewhere it is cloudy a lot.I have purchased another two sets, one more for my house and another for the neighbor across the street.

These lights were super easy to install, and they take care of themselves! I'm in love with solar! These come on automatically with motion sensors and provide light that covers an impressive area. I installed them at the carport entrance on my older rental home that can't accommodate electric installation without great expense. I've been thrilled with these little additions. They have remained in place during several storms as well. I couldn't be happier, and the price is perfect!

Either my lights are defective or 75% of the reviews are inaccurate. I purchased these to hang over Clean Up After Your Pet signs on my fence. I figured the dog owner would walk by and trigger the light to shine on the sign. That didn't happen. I had to practically stand on top of the sign or at least 3ft to 4ft away for the sensor to work. The light cast is very bright and the sensor does work at close range that is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I've since moved the lights to my gate door which allows me to see at night to unlock it.

These are awesome but wish they stayed on all the time and not motion activated. nonetheless a great buy only thing it should have been 30-50 seconds illumination and not 15 seconds, I initially assumed that if it rained the lights would stay on all the time but unfortunately they do not. Reason for the missing star is they should upgrade one more time with a more easily detected sensor and you shouldn’t have to walk very close to it for it to come on, still an Amazing product and can’t beat the light output 💯💯💯😎

These lights are not very bright and do not detect motion reliably. The mounting screws are too small and cannot work with these light. The mounting holes are an unusual size and I cannot find screws to fit. Also the seller is now selling half the number of lights for twice the cost. I will keep looking.

I purchased these with the doubt that they would not light up the area. I was proven wrong and these lights are bright enough and last throughout the evening and recharge throughout the day. The radius of turning on is awesome as I walk to my back yard and stand in the back watering my yard in the evening they light up and stay on for as long as one is in the area.
