Old school Nokia. Does the job.
Typical nokia brick. Nice and sturdy. Easy to use. Big buttons for my giant hands. Very good battery life.

Don't buy it
Garbage phone! After 15 months of light usage it's dead. It gave no warnings it was on the way out, just couldn't get through with calls in either direction, tried to restart the phone and it bricked itself. I'm very disappointed with the quality. I thought i was buying something reliable and simple for an elderly person, but cheaper £20 phones have lasted longer!

Perfect non-Smart Phone for younger kids
I bought 2 of these for my twin daughters who went to secondary school for the first time. We were committed to not giving them smartphones just yet. These phones are ideal for keeping in contact with them but be aware of their limitations. They are unlocked and accept multiple SIMs. The battery lasts for days. We bought SIMs with no data and plenty of free calls and texts. We also bought roaming so that they can stay in contact during holidays in Europe. The camera is pretty rubbish and they internal memory is terrible. You need to add an SD card to prevent the phone from running out of memory. Is this a great phone? No it's not. it is perfect for what we wanted? Yes it is. Oh, and it has an updated version of the old Nokia snake game ;-) Last point, if you are really interested in your younger kids being Smartphone Free then speak to you local group or get in touch via the school. You can always search the web for smartphonefreechildhood to see what's happening with local authorities and government regulations on social media.

Very easy to set up
Very easy to set up and input address book. Totally straight forward .Good size buttons, not the best camera. Works fine with 4G sim so we now have an emergency phone. Lightweight. Only wish is that it came with the gadget to open back as it was rather difficult to open.

A VERY basic phone with very, very, poor instructions
I had low expectations of this very basic phone, and this proved accurate. The instructions with it , AND the online instructions are pathetically minimal - even to tell you how to turn off the annoying button press squeak noise, ( I did figure that out) . It does work ok purely as a phone, and a camera , and the entering and accessing of contacts is OK. The Settings menu , particularly, should have been a lot more useful . And nowadays on Pay As You Go there is no roll-over of unused cash from month to month for calls , so this basic phone will cost me at least £10 a month ! What a rip off.

Excellent simple 4G phone good price
Needed a simple 4G mobile for a friend. Looked at a few, but either not 4G or to complicated, did not require all the apps. Came across this Nokia model tried it out myself very impressed. Clam shaped phone so screen is protected when not used. As Clam shaped small and easy to store. Easy to read screen, big buttons, just open it up to answer the call. Easy to hold operate. To charge has the Miro-UBS socket, minus point, should be the universal C socket. As an extra from Nokia a mains charger is availble, to store the phone in. Like a landline phone so it charges at the same time. Battery comes separate from the phone in the box to fit in the phone. Easy to do. Battery lasts a long time. You can buy extra ones from Nokia for about £16.00. Some one complained the camera was no good. For the price and market it's for your not going to have a quality camera. Another review mentioned the rocker switch on the camera case too easy to press by mistake. I agree. Sort that out and a C socket for charging and you have a good cheap mobile.

Maybe working with voLTE or Maybe not
At first when making a call the network strength bars icon would change to "3G" or "E". However now it stays on 4G. It could be that voLTE took a few days to activate or that voLTE is not available. Whatever, the voLTE icon does not appear so it's anyones guess. Same on Lebara, Vodafone, EE and O2. Whether this is a fault of the phone or a fault of mobile networks is not clear. The volume rocker and SOS button are easily pressed by mistake and would be better on the inside of the phone as is the on/off/end call button. Otherwise the phone works easily and well. It is useful for digital detox but if I take the plunge and divorce my smart phones for good I doubt if I will stick with this phone. The test of all tests is to install a Three sim which I have done. It's a good test because Three insists on 4G calling (voLTE) for all calls. The result is that the phone works perfectly for both outgoing and incoming calls and outgoing and incoming SMS. As a result of this test I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars.

Dreadful phone. Avoid like the plague. Glitchy. Strange defaults. Changes functions. Terrible. Would give zero if I could

I think it should be more clear in the description about the frequencies the phone opperates. So the customer can clearly see if the phone will work in their country or not. Sadly for me, the phone is useless because it will not work in the Netherlands. I tried different opperators, but non of them works with the phone. It's a nice phone but I can't use it.

Buon telefono per chi vuole disintossicarsi dagli smartphone. Ha le funzioni essenziali per telefonare. Peccato per il caricabatterie che ha spina americana quindi necessita di un adattatore non fornito.
