Great Replacement for Standard Adaptor
I have 3 MacBook Pro computers and often move them from one location to another. It is a pain to do so because of all of the AC and DC cabling. This adapter allows you to use a standard USB-C cable and adapter to power your MacBook Pro which uses MagSafe connection.I found it very easy to use and plan to purchase several more of these units to make moving my computers easier.I highly recommend!

UPDATE from So far so good… Not good now!!
I’ve had to repair my OE mbp charger a few times now. It’s just not feasible to keep doing so. The MagSafe end, particularly, is a pita to keep opening for resolder. It would be great if apple would just make a quality charging product!I got this tip in an effort to prevent, or at least reduce, cord strain at the connector. I paired it with an oe usb c cable and brick. So far, it works great. I can adjust the orientation as needed and there seems to be much less strain where the cable meets the connector. Hopefully this setup will last much longer than the MagSafe 2.It does get pretty warm, borderline hot, though I’m uncertain if it’s any warmer than the oe. I’m a big proponent of unplugging cords not in use anyway, so I do this when the mbp is charged/not in use.The tip feels well made, connects to the usb c easily and firmly, and seems to work as it should. It also connects securely, even with silicone dust plugs inserted in the ports.***UPDATE***Two months in and the connector is both working intermittently and burning hot to the touch. Upon inspection, both end pins have blackened and the springs are stuck downIt has also blackened the end pins on my mbp. That really stinks!I cannot recommend this product!!!

Only PD USB-C to MagSafe 2 that works
I've tried a few different PD USB-C to MagSafe 2 adapters and this is the only one that didn't die after about a month. The others overheat and burn out the PD chip in the adapter. If you need to power a MacBook Air via USB-C, this is going to be your best option.

A week later, it is doing the job
I'm excited about this item.I've had it for a week and, having followed the instructions, it works.I hope to use it to power an A1465 11" MacBook Air. I hope it will allow me to cut down on the number of power supplies that I need to carry when traveling: the 65W USB PD-capable power supply that I have paired it with also has 5V ports for charging my phone/tablet/watch/fan.Look for me to update this review as my testing continues.

Does not fit a new M2 Mac Pro
I made a mistake thinking that I could get the L shape to streamline the cable providing power at the back of my MacPro. I don’t like how the T shape connector sticks out from my laptop. However the L shape is only for the old laptops. Wasted my money😩

Melted after three months
This adapter worked great for three months. It always got a bit warm during use but in the last couple of weeks it got much hotter then too hot to touch. By that point the plastic around the contact pins had melted and they stopped making good contact and it quit working entirely.
