Exceeded my expectations.
I'm very impressed, it really exceeded my expectations. We've been through a number of antennas, and this one is definitely the best one we've tried. Previously we didn't get our local NBC affiliate, but now it comes in crystal clear, and there's absolutely no flickering or pixelation if someone walks through the living room. While shopping for an antenna, my main criteria was was price + performance. You can find rabbit ears for ten bucks, and you can also find some really fancy things for $90. Personally, I was willing to spend $50, but that was my upper limit. Luckily there's no compromising with this one, it works really really well. We have it sitting on a high shelf near the ceiling. We're using it indoors, so I can't comment on how well it withstands exposure to rain water,

Welllll?
I've been using a homemade antenna made basically will tin foil and wire hangers. I found instructions for making it with a google search. It's U-G-L-Y, but gets the 18 channels that I've been informed are available in my area (when used with an inline amplifier), but there's enough ghosting and signal fade to make me think 'a REAL antenna would work much better'. This antenna arrived today, when using the same inline amp, I get 14 channels and even those have about half the signal strength as my foil & hanger antenna. I'l be fair and say I can't try some of the things the instructions say help...no window facing the transmitters. But I did spend over an hour trying various locations and heights with no success. I'll be sending this back-but I suspect in a metro area near the station transmitters, this may be a good solution

I was very pleased to discover that I now receive 44 TV channels ...
After a move of mine to the "suburbs" the indoor antenna I had used for more than 15 years would only pick up 2 TV channels, so I opted for this one from Antennas Direct. I was very pleased to discover that I now receive 44 TV channels with perfect reception, excellent picture clarity, and very little weather interference to the picture. The only interference I have seen is when the occasional airplane passes overhead near to my residence. I couldn't be more pleased with this antenna!

Had a cheaper antenna got zero channels on my boat. Now I get 7 channels but two of them are in Spanish. I did use an amplifier that did not come with it to get the 7 channels to come in clearer.

Works quite well in NYC suburbs. The VHF dipoles are almost irrelevant at the moment as most broadcasters use UHF in this major market. Not too bulky, seems robust and genuinely doubled the amount of stations I could pick up vs rabbit ears.

There are better, less expensive choices out there
Too expensive, cable not long enough to find optimal placement, not aesthetically pleasing.
