Martindale EZ365 Socket, Earth Loop and RCD Tester

Works really well, the house was earthed (as tested with cheaper alternatives) but this discovered that the resistance was way too high (electricity supplier turned up same day, made safe same day, and proper fix over next days). RCD check is very reassuring also.

Works as it should. Already found a problem with one socket so a worthwhile purchase. Feels robust and good quality.

Good product, easy to use and good check of socket integrity. A bit more expensive than some of the other testers on the market, but this is a better more professional product. Identified a couple of sockets where the ground impedance was a bit higher than the lowest setting, enabling me to rectify them.

Ideal for quickly periodically checking your sockets at home and identifying potential safety issues. Better than the basic ones as it checks earth loop impedance and can test that your breakers trip. If it finds a problem then call out a professional to resolve.

Great tester. Clear instructions. Very logical and easy to use. The earth resistance test is a great feature.

At first, I was amazed by the functionality of this device, especially the RCD testing one, which showed failure with a few of the sockets in the house. I had to call (and pay for...) an electrician to come and diagnose the fault, but on his professional instruments everything was fine with the sockets, so this socket tester did not prove accurate enough. I returned the product for the refund.

A great product, with improved response time for checking wiring and polarity faults. Star removed for the original product unexpectedly and inexplicably failing. Feel like I should not have necessarily had to make this upgrade.
