Quick acting, easy to use and leave things clean.
Good stuff, works quickly and does not leave a funky smell. Have to dissolve it in water, run it through the coffee pot and then a few cycles of clean water. Works like magic. Knocked a star because it does not dissolve quickly or completely-- but about 90-95% of the way

Works well!
I used to use plain old vinegar to descale my coffee maker, and while it kind of worked, the smell was a nightmare. My whole kitchen would reek of vinegar, and no matter how many times I rinsed, I always felt like I could still taste it in my coffee. This Urnex powder solves that problem completely. It's odorless and rinses out completely, so your coffee just tastes like coffee again—pure and simple.After I used this on my espresso machine, I noticed a huge difference. The water flowed much more smoothly, and the coffee tasted so much better. It felt like I had a brand new machine. I also appreciate that it's made with natural ingredients and is phosphate-free, so I don't have to worry about putting harsh chemicals down the drain.

Got rid of a funky taste in my coffee
My coffee was tasting weird, not good. Used this descaler & their cleaner and they both worked great. I see less expensive versions of this but I’m not sure what the difference is. This works really well, is easy to use & not too time consuming so I’ll stick with this.

Do not vacillate
we bought this machine for speed, quality (handmade and warranty), and looks...not expecting a better cup of joe. It didn't disappoint on any of the qualities we were looking for but also gave us even better coffee. We're coffee lovers but not what I'd consider "geeks". We do know a good cup when we have it but refined tasters we're not. I know beans and grind all make a difference. I'm just saying, this is a great machine. A bit pricey but we're not disappointed.

Removes hard water scale
It works as advertised. I used it in my combination coffee/espresso machine and it cleaned it right out. The espresso side was so clogged it wouldn’t even pass water through it. After using the citric acid it cleaned it out within about 30 minutes. My machine works again and it has even improved the taste of the coffee by removing the calcium build up. I’ll buy again when the time comes.
