23190 1.3-Amp Variable Speed Steady-Grip Rotary Tool with 190-Piece Accessory Kit, Flex Shaft, and Carrying Case, Multicolor

This is my second rotary tool for tiny and detailed refinishing. My last I bought many years ago because it wasn’t strong enough to keep rotating under notable pressure. But this one is awesome. I have now used multiple bits on pinewood and this tool did great. It did get pretty hot in my hand since I was working it pretty hard but the heat never was an issue. I also tried the long flex shaft. It was pretty handy for the extra finite needs. The heavier unit sometimes made micro movements tough to be accurate. I should probably watch some videos for tips on how to cut a straight line on wood but this tool is a really great start. Good quality. Smooth operation. Love the variable speed and powerful motor. Thankful for all the bits. The only thing I wish it had was different sand paper grits. All of the ones here are off the same low number grit, which leaves lines in the wood. Makes beautifully fast work but once you’re ready for an option that doesn’t leave lines, there isn’t one in this set. I record buying additional bits that’s have more variety. Even still, this is a stellar product!

I bought this mainly for the flexible shaft that can be used for precision work. I already have a Dremel but it is very old and not variable speed, just on or off. This rotary tool is variable speed and the kit comes with lots of accessories. The storage box keeps everything organized so you can find what you need quickly. I really like the different size collets that can be used for various drill bits. The first project I used this rotary tool on was to drill small holes into stained wooden knobs so they could be attached to 1" diameter wafer cutters. The flexible shaft worked perfectly and I was able to accomplish the work with no misses or mistakes. Excellent price and I was able to bundle this purchase with an additional accessory kit.

The flex shaft seemed really cool, but it is difficult to keep it operating properly due to parts disconnecting. I have resorted to using the standard chuck to affix the tools. The included tools are pretty good overall and have suited my needs! The tool itself is a bit large, making it hard to use in tighter situations but it's pretty powerful so I can see why it's as large as it is. The vents near the front aren't in the best position, as I often find myself toasting my fingers and needing to adjust my grip off of them. But for such a low cost, this tool is hanging in there with continuous use so I would still recommend it.

Really nice rotary tool set, has a ton of attachments in a nice case. While using the wand there is quite a bit of vibration if the tool isn't positioned correctly, but a good buy

Comes with a multitude of bits, plenty of power to handle the task it was purchased for, my mercruiser had a small head Crack, this kit had the perfect size drills to stop the Crack and allow me to pin it. Saved me a season on the water. The built in LED was a godsend in tight dark quaters.

I bought this product as an upgrade to my Dremel tool, as I saw that the bits were adaptable. I love the power and precision of the flex shaft and the variable speed, but the accessory kit and the way it was set up left a little to be desired. First of all, the sanding spools and the bits that they mount on either do not fit the correct bit size or I am missing a few washers to hold them in place. The polishing paste was completely dried out, I opened it and it crumbled out of the tube in pieces. Wire and nylon Polishing bits quickly erroaded and I still cannot figure out how to get the flat sanding bits to put together correctly. The instructions for the bits, their usages and how to use them was very short in the instruction manual. As for storage, there is no extra space, save stuffing other bits and various pieces where the rotary tool and flex shaft/power cord are housed. I for one do not have room for lots of tool boxes in my living arrangements, and carrying two Tupperware containers and the toolbox with the various pieces that are easily lost, gets to be a bit of a hassle. All in all its a great kit for the price and I really enjoy it. But toolbox space management and extra storage within it, as well as stronger and better fitted bits would be a suggestion for the future.

This seems like a good quality and good value bit of kit but unfortunately it came with a US plug and is not rated for UK voltage so I haven’t been able to try it out

Can't complain, with this you get better than what you pay for. I bought this to see if it could cut off a brass fitting inside a wall. I still have plenty of cutting wheel left. Using cable was great to get at a few old nails to remove. Couldn't use hammer as wall too delicate. Recommended product.

Lets start with tge issue; 1. This is a 120v 60hz!!! And having a 2 flat pin plug. Not a EU 3 PIN PLUG! 2. The plastic lock latch of the toolbox is so brittle mine came with a broken lock. 3. Again its a 120v.!! If your really in to this buy a stepdown powersupply if you have a 230v supply. Now on positive side: 1. Build quality feels premium tool in hand.. 2. PLENTY OF bits and accesories a LOT! 3. BEAUTIFUL CARRYBOX BUT PLASTICS ARE BRITTLE. 4 reasonable product for the price you pay. Have some issues but some are easy fix.. big issue to me is its a 120v!!!!
