I have 3 cars, a truck, Kubota tractor, boat trailer, dump trailer and utility trailer. So many different lug nut sizes, but these two sockets take care of all of them. Good quality and fast and easy to use while taking us less room in my small tool box.

Look no further, these universal sockets will fit just about anything you need, on the first try. These kind of remind me of those little hand imprint toys you use to play with as a kid, where the pins are spring loaded. This is a similar concept, and therefore will work for really any use case. It comes with a small and a large universal socket depending on your needs. I tested it out on a few bolts and it works like a charm. I really can’t believe I haven’t gotten one of these sooner!

I picked these up knowing that sooner or later I would be faced with a need to turn some fastener or other that I didn't have any other way to do so. Today I tried using this to turn the housing of a light bulb in my car to get it to come loose - it is oblong with flat top and bottom and just about the exact diameter of the smaller of the two tools included. For this particular case the plastic housing was still able to not turn fully when I tried to loosen it. I could feel it slipping while turning. This was an hail mary attempt to use this product though and I don't hold it against it that this didn't work out. I'm sure there will be another opportunity to use this that will work better. Very well made and includes several socket adapters.

I joke that every time I take on what seems to be a simple home improvement project, I should only have to run to the tool chest once or twice, but I end up going 62 times because I've grabbed the wrong size (insert tool name here) - this handy replacement for a socket set really cuts that down. They seem quite sturdy and couldn't be easier to use. I'll note that if you are working with VERY low profile nuts or bolts, this may not "grab" them like a proper socket - but if you've got a job that requires a few different size sockets, these allow you to save time and frustration, plus these can replace a whole tray of regular sockets. Recommended!

Universal yes; BUT way to heavy and oversized for ¾" & 13/16" if you have to extend a couple feet to get to a Bolt. Nuts on a bolt with threads sticking out over ½" make the sockets basically useless!

Needed just one thing out of this set but it all works like it should.

We were installing new hay feeders at the barn and ran into not having the right socket. ugh. So irritating. Plus, this socket would be a different size from that socket. I don't know what those people were thinking. This set solved our problems. No finding and fitting the right socket, just put it on and go. They are nice and heavy and fit everything we threw at it perfectly. So, if someone never puts your sockets back where they belong (they know who they are) get one of these and then hide it so you'll always know where it is. Otherwise, they'll probably misplace this as well.

Great universal socket for most sizes. I've been using it around the house and for building multiple things so far. These things usually break when you use them for heavy duty bolts on cars for example. This is my second set so far. But it's good to use on like 99% of household repairs and builds. Plus you don't have to carry around multiple tools, go back and forth to the garage to find correct sized sockets. My socket kit is broken so i can't carry it around anymore, and it's also heavy. Talking about carrying 30 lbs vs just this set + drill/driver.
