This is the first time my wife and I used a no contact thermometer. It works perfectly, is accurate and easy to use. It was shipped quickly and was in perfect condition. It is so much easier to use than the ones you insert under your tongue. The reading happens in seconds, and it beeps to let you know it is ready to read.

This is the perfect thermometer for my daughter, who is moving into her college apartment. We wanted something easy to use and easy to read. This thermometer came with batteries, which were handy because we forgot to have some on hand. There's literally no guesswork when it comes to taking a temperature with this thermometer! My daughter and roomies will know immediately whether they have a fever or should play it safe based on their temperature.

works very well.the sound signals (that reading is done, or there’s an error) aren’t very loud (ok, my hearing’s poor) so knowing that it has/has not got a good reading is less clear than I’d wish. fortunately, it’s very good at getting a reading…I also really wish it were Bluetooth-enabled and Apple Health-integrated—but I wasn’t ready to step up to the then-market price for those features when I purchased it.

Great product. Easy and accurate

As and older person with an autoimmune disease I occassionally need a thermometer due to running low grade fevers from time to time.This past week we were quite sick over the last few weeks I ran a low-mid grade fever. The first night I woke with a fever and grabbed our current low frill digital thermometer. I quickly realized our current digital thermometer has a grey background and dark grey numbers. I have only used it in light so it can't be seen without turing a light on. I wasn't thrill having to turn on a light in the middle of the night because my bed partner (also sick) would wake. I had to drag myself up out of my cozy nest of blankets just to read my temperature.I purchased this thermometer (within minutes of figuring this problem out) on Amazon around 11:45, choosing Prime's overnight option (having like 12 minutes to make the midnight deadline). It was delivered before first light because during the night it was delivered. Admittedly, I live 5 minutes from the warehouse in my area but I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Because in addition to being able to see the softly lit screen (thst isn't in anyway bothersome in the dark) I could also check my husband's temperature in a few seconds because he's not at all interested in knowing -- being one of those "I'll just be sick or dead" people.This product can be held within 1.5" from the body and captures an accurate reading because I used two of our old thermometers to check. The unit will light green if within normal range, yellow slightly elevated or low grade, red if fever OR low temp.Because I'm not sure how many people are aware of the concerning nature a low temp can be I was impressed that the unit isn't merely measuring with a result of green as anything below a certain number but the actually widely agreed upon numbers that make up the "normal" range.As an older adult (mid 50s) with an autoimmune disease I occassionally have a low temperature (in addition to running low grade fevers all the time). Which was the case in the days after my being ill this past time. I ran a fever 3 days then within days my body temp dropped. As per my doctor I contacted they're office right away.I'm noting this because a low temperature can be quite concerning. This is a great feature.

The media could not be loaded. Wife here! With cold and flu season around the corner this is a must have! Originally I was using a regular under the armpit thermometer for my 15 month old. After his last appt, he really started to fear the thermometer and would even wake up when I tried to take his temp while sleeping. Saw a great deal on this digital one and read all the great reviews! I was not disappointed! Very easy to use and is easy to read! Takes accurate temp very quickly! Came with a little carrying bag to keep protected. Also has a “home” setting where you can check the temp of things other than a forehead temp! I will definitely purchase a second as a backup! Amazing product!!
