EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND OPERATES AS DESCRIBED
EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND OPERATES AS DESCRIBED. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE DELIVERY. THE LOCAL DELIVERY WAS LATE MISSING THE TARGET ARRIVAL DATE AND I HAD TO DRIVE 15 MILES TO MEET THE CARRIER WHEN IT DID ARRIVE. HE HAD NO EQUIPMENT FOR OFF LOADING SO IT WAS A MANUAL OPERATION WITH IT STRAPPED TO 2 WOODEN PALLETS. I RECOMMEND THE LADDER JUST WATCH THE DELIVERY DATE IF YOU LIVE IN THE BOON DOCKS AS I DO.

Lousy shipping choice!
The ladder is fine but the shipping company is lousy! I would not buy again if I thought that I had to deal with this shipper. I tried to give the shipping company my business address for the delivery. It is where I needed the ladder, someone would be there, I have a forklift for unloading and it would be easier for their driver. They would not accommodate. It was just down the road from my residence.

What a nightmare
This product ships knocked down. That is another way of saying "some assembly required." But that is the way it comes. The problem was that either Amazon didn't tell Louisville Ladders or they, in turn, did not tell ABF; but apparently ABF won't deliver without a phone number and nobody had mine. So we got a copy of a letter that ABF sent to Louisville Ladders explaining that they could not contact us and were going to begin charging a daily storage fee for not delivering it. Since we did get the letter, we called them and arranged for delivery of the ladder. The ladder was delivered to my front yard. The driver would not even drive up to our shop (at the end of the driveway) to deliver it. So the next item was to unwrap the ladder and set it up. Oops, either Louisville Ladder forgot to send the necessary hardware or ABF lost it. In either event, I was left "guessing" how to set it up. No casters, no bolts, no instructions, no nothing. Here the story takes a little better turn. I called Louisville Ladder and spoke to Tom in parts. He sent me a new set of hardware which arrived three days ago. The casters, hardware, clamps, etc. along with the instructions for setting it up all came via UPS without them having to keep my phone number on file. Yes, the delivery was free. But I think next time I need a similar product I will buy it from the local Grainger Supply.

Sturdy Ladder
This was a quality built ladder and should work for what we are going to use it for. We have only had it for a short time so durability is yet to be deturmined.
