Fix devices that won't charge over USB C
I've got a cheapo tablet that I have mounted in the car to use for Ordnance Survey maps running on MemoryMap and the car only has USB C outlets. The tablet has a USB C input but lacks the internal software to sort out the polarity of the incoming power (in other words it isn't a PD capable device). These little adaptors contain the necessary chip and enable connection to a cable with a USB A type fitting one end and a USB C fitting on the other. They enable the tablet to charge while it's in the car and I'm a Happy Bunny.

It is a good adapter from usb c to USB. Works excellent, compact enough. I use it for wireless headphones and the signal is great.

It's solid and well made, not flimsy at all. It clicks in securely and doesn’t wiggle or randomly disconnect. I’ve used it with a few USB sticks and accessories and everything just works. No weird connection issues. Very small and portable. It works perfectly with MacBook. Truly plug and play. Doesn't get in the way of the MagSafe charger either! I honestly only needed one adapter, but I don’t mind that it comes in a 2-pack. These things are tiny and possibly easy to lose, so having a backup is actually pretty handy. One small tip: You should attach the adapter to your USB device first, then plug the whole thing into your laptop. Plugging the adapter into the MacBook first and then inserting the USB drive is less stable and definitely isn't reliable, and could potentially damage your USB device when forcing the connection. Overall, simple and dependable. Would definitely recommend!
