Great price, awesome quality. Five stars all around!
This is a high-quality magnifying lamp that has helped tremendously with my up close work tasks. I work on a range of intricate projects, from reading small prints and hobby crafts to detailed repair work. The 10X magnifying power coupled with an LED light has made these tasks not only manageable but genuinely enjoyable. I must say that this lamp is a lot better than those mercury vapor lamps that used to be sold everywhere – the only ones that you could get with a lens.Starting off with the initial setup, it was a breeze. The lamp arrived in a well-packaged box with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The clamp-on design gave it the much-needed flexibility to be mounted anywhere, and it attached securely to my workspace without a hitch. It was a simple and straightforward process, and within a few minutes, I had it up and ready for use.The quality of the lens, which I believe is the heart of any magnifying lamp, was impressive. It offers a 10X magnification, which is perfect for my detailed work. The clarity is amazing, with no weird distortion around the edges, making it a pleasure to use for extended periods. The high-quality lens ensures that I can see the minutest details with absolute precision, which is great for my craft and repair projects. What I appreciate even more about this lamp is the range of adjustments it offers. It features an “architect lamp” design that allows for easy positioning of the lamp head, enabling me to focus the light and magnification exactly where it's needed. This is a game-changer as it eliminates the need for awkward positions and constant adjustments. Moreover, the LED light system of this magnifying lamp is another notable aspect. It offers three color modes - Warm White, White, and Yellow. I can easily switch between these modes depending on the task and time of the day, which has significantly reduced eye strain. The dimming feature is the icing on the cake. The ability to control the brightness level is a feature I didn't know I needed until I started using this lamp. This is a great piece of equipment for the price. It combines a high-quality lens, easy setup, and a range of adjustments to provide an awesome user experience. I highly recommend it to anyone involved in detailed work - be it reading, crafts, repair, or any close up work. I will be getting one for my mother as well and I am sure that she will have absolutely no problems setting it up and using it.

Magnifying Glass onna Stick. With built-in Light!
I've been looking for a magnifying lamp for a while now, and I don't know why I waited so long. I often do craft-type stuff on very small scales (soldering, fixing broken toys, embroidery). I have magnifying headgear, but since the lenses are close to your eyes, their focal length has to be short. This is fine, except that you then have to hold the workpiece really close in front on the lens. Staring at something small for half an hour at 10x magnification is hard on the eyes. At least, it is on mine. The lens on this lamp is much larger (so the central area that’s in focus in larger) and the focal length is much longer. I measured it with the lens in the middle between my eye and a test piece, both moving slowly away from the lens. Things start to get fuzzy around 6” from the lens.Build quality is really good. Everything seems solid and well-made. Packaging was sturdy and probably better than if I had done it.The light helps tremendously. The fact that it’s a ring right around the lens gets rid of any shadows, while still reflecting off of the thing you’re looking at. Having the light mounted like this makes it so much better than just a large magnifying glass on a stand. The light can cycle between white and warm yellow, and a couple of shades in-between where they mix the number of LEDs of each color. The lamp’s diffuser get a bit warm to the touch, but no more than you’d expect. The upper portion of the lamp gets much warmer. Not nearly warm enough to be uncomfortable, but warmer than I though LEDs can go. There’s probably just a lot of LEDs in that ring. And I run it at full brightness all the time.In the attached pictures you can see me using it while sharpening a pocket knife. When you get to 2000 and 3000 grit it’s difficult to see the scratch marks left by the sandpaper. This magnifying light made that a lot easier.Dislikes:- The base is not super heavy. The head is kinda heavy, so if you extend the neck all the way, the base isn’t heavy enough and it tips over a bit. I have it screwed to the side of my table now, so that’s not an issue anymore.- The switch is on the cord, about a foot from where it comes out of the base. After mounting it on the edge of my table I realized that the switch is unreachable, between the table and the wall. So I fished it out and hooked it over an adjustment knob. But now the cord is effectively more than a foot shorter. Having the switch on the head or at the front of the base would have been nice. Not a deal-breaker though.Likes:- Long focal length of the magnifying glass- Large glass with large area in the middle that’s in focus- Ring light surrounding the glass- Can be used as a regular desk lamp

It works, love the flexibility and magnifying power
I bought this LED magnifying glass light for my hobby of repairing vintage watches. I am very impressed with the quality and functionality of this product. The magnifying glass is large and clear, and the LED light is bright and adjustable. The flexible neck allows me to position the light at any angle I need. The clamp is sturdy and easy to attach to my desk. The light also comes with a USB cable and a power adapter, so I can use it with any power source. This LED magnifying glass light has made my work much easier and more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good magnifying light for their projects.

It's just an 'ok' light that comes with regret
It's just an 'ok' light. It works, it magnifies, but the springs & arms are not well balanced, making it rather clumsy to actually move without tipping the base. The screw adjustment on the light-magnifier end kinda sucks, just when you think it's snugged down enough to stay in place, you find it moves, or is so tight that the whole light base moves to make a small adjustment. I'm keeping mine, along with my regret.
